Nice vid! I also want a downpipe for my 8y. Currently have midpipe and resonator delete on the exhausts. I see that your check engine light is on lol was the dealer able to take a look? Is your warranty voided?
The cel is on due the lambda sensor. I installed a spacer but I'll have to try another one as it keep coming back. No power loss. Oh, yes. No warranty 👍
BEST Sounding car! LOVE it ! what is your typeset up here and how much bar you drove it 2,4? did you changed suspension ? car didn't go in limp Mode with the decaf and OPF delete? thanks
TY sir. Car is on Cup 2 tires, oem audi adaptive sport suspension and the only power adder is a race chip box. They say it adds around 50hp. No limp mode with emulators just occasionally SEL light due the lambda sensor. I have a lambda spacer which helps against that one. Car rips 👍
Thanks for this fast reply! I’m building now my rs3 8y for track! Had the daza before it was less complicated 😅 I’m now welding my decat en opf delete, can’t wait to hit the track 😜 at this point I have a Mtr stage 1 , but I’m in doubt if the car will go in limpmode if I track it 😅 without codes deleted! Looking forward to meeet you at the ring! I have kemora grey limo ( h3R0) license plate
@@oistein74 sort of the same, that engine had iron block, and some aluminium parts, the New engine has aluminium and magnesium for the rods, head gasket I think, different turbos، even the air manifold is New, and the overall unit is 20kg lighter than the pre facelift, quite a massive amount of efforts, so the engine can deliver more power, and has more capabilities on tuning, however everyone knows that the EA855 is stronger than the EA855 Evo.
@@oistein74 I didn't meant that, they've been trying to solve the biggest issue that the RS3 was suffering from which is the understeer, since the engine was mounted way far to the front axle, they had to catch the understeer through lowering the weight on the front axle, and adding wider tires at the front, they've actually tried hard and worth applause, I'm a big fan of the RS3, I don't even have a car but you know I believe that every petrol head was in my same situation, who knows I might buy it next year, or probably when Audi goes fully Electric, anyway mate nice piece, I absolutely love it, I love your driving as well.
@@YOURCARSTRAIGHT No worries Habib. Iu derstand what you meant. Steel is harder than alu alloy and hence it's stronger. That's correct seen from raw material siden of things but when using the correct alu alloy density designed to be used in an engine things change. It's more expensive to produce and I suspect that's the main reason audi went with cast steel in older models but it can be designed to be as strong if not stronger than steel when designed correctly. Albeit at a higher cost and as you see the new RS3 8Y isn't very cheap.
