Thanks to your guide I finally managed to get my first kill. Took me about 2m 30s for that first kill. Now I'm at about 50 rasial kills, avarage time at about 1m 40s.. best kill time so far is 1m 26s. Im starting to get the hang of this boss. Thanks mate, you got yourself a new sub!
I have killed Rasial a few times, however I always find myself running out of food and my hell hound always dying. Usually takes me 3 minutes, I only have tank armor. But now, I got T95 armor hand wraps and boots. I’ve come to realize Rasial truly is a DPS check boss…so after watching this I’ll try it again. Ima change my relic powers, I currently has Beserkers fury, LOTD and the HP one.
The common drops really suck at this place, and with my luck i've spent 70m on supplies and not gotten a drop. i've seen people go 1k kills and only got one drop, then other people finish log before 500. The drop rate system is really broken and needs updating somehow, badluck mitigation doesn't seem to be a thing at rasial either. who wants to kill this shit 1k times spending hundreds of mills on supplies for a single drop that can be as low as 50m
I mean he drops bolt tips and onyx dust pretty frequent which are 400-600k drops. As long as you aren’t dying and even getting 2-3 minute kills those will cover the cost of all food. After a few kills and getting used to rasials damage you shouldn’t really need the brews.
@gabecranmer6086 before fight summon conjurs, enter fight, use haunt (ghost again) and command skeleton, surge and walk 2 tiles forward, quick prayers (soul split & sorrow/ruination), invoke death, then set up death skulls for the fight. Once the fight starts use a vuln bomb, get 100% adren from revo, living death, adrenaline renewal pot, wait till 60% adrenaline, death skulls, undead slayer, split soul, enhanced excalibur, elven shard, weapon special attack, wait to 60% adren, death skulls, when split soul is at 3-4 seconds left use volley of souls. Boss should be around 270k-300k health so use auto attacks since special attack should still be up. If Rasial gets volley use devotion and surge under his phase 4 stage. At 200k health use bloat, finger, finger, death skulls. At this point he should be around 70-80k health use auto attacks or special attack again if off cool down till he hits 30k health. Make sure to has jas book on as it does give a lot of extra DPS to get the quick kills.
holy jesus dude ya I'm not capable of what you are yet. I just did Rasiel for the first time today @@heresmike and it was ROUGH. I'm only at a 2:40 second kill time on average so not anywhere near you yet!
I guess I should put an asterisks next to full revo. This, in my opinion, is as full revo as rasial is going to be without kills taking 5 minutes. The beginner guide I made could probably be moved around a bit for a true full revo but again your kill time will be very long for this boss. And with this boss you will have to manually use abilities regardless because of phase 4.
@@heresmike so yes. Basically there is no full revo possible. My point is it could be a little bit missleading as it was for me. Im crap at manual combat and using consistent rotations and I know many more players do.
I mean this isn’t even full manual. 70% of the fight can be done revo. You have to click 4-5 different keybinds maybe 10 times total. I’ll say to you what I told someone else in another one of my videos. If rasial is your first boss end game boss and you aren’t confident in manual pressing abilities go do gwd2 bosses first. Practice on vindi as even with necro he is still super easy and can be done fully revo and 50/50. Start off fully revo on his kills for 20-30 kills to get the feeling of the fight then start to take ultimates off revo then thresholds. This is what I did (for mage) and it will make these other harder bosses a million times easier. Revo is when you have revolution handle basics, and you manually trigger thresholds and ultimates. Revo++ is where basic, thresholds, and ultimates are triggered by revolution.
How are you healing so much doing this? 3 months later even with tank gear I am struggling to stay alive even using EOF for extra soul split healing not sure what I am doing wrong
If you are using tank gear I would not follow this guide. Your dps compared to power gear won’t compete. But to answer your question it’s the blood reaver scrolls healing that keeps you alive. I’d follow my basic guide which will work better with tank gear and a few things can be moved around since the latest update with necro abilities.
I can't get revo to work at all from the rework. hopefully the beta makes some sense cuz I'm doing like half the damage I need to Soul split and its gunna raise it 10k.
I haven’t tried rasial yet but I will this week and make a new video for this. The big thing to remember though with this specific set up is that the t95 weapons are required. Split soul works without them but it’s a different rotation you gotta do.
They are the t95 weapons. Special attack is different than the t70-90 versions. This one has a 1 min cooldown but for 30 seconds all basic attacks do double damage.
Yea cape is needed. Getting the kiln cape for necro should be easy but if you need the stone from Zuk doing a gano mage run would probably be the easiest because of the extra range mage has vs necro. There should be a ton of guides for easy mage zuk runs and will probably take a few tries to get down.
my idea was tank rasial until i could afford the codex for ruinition and then go do zuk with full rasial gear. except, i can't even get a kill in 120 necro with omni spectral undead slayer codex and invention perks. lol. soooo im thinking maybe hybrid the new boss when it comes out after the beta? lol@@heresmike
Yea fighting rasial without the cape would be hard because even with the Omni special death skulls dps is huge and would be hard to make up without it. If you plan on waiting for the new boss I would try out zuk tbh. Vorkath or whoever they release then will probably still need the zuk cape of whatever build you use and you have around 21ish days to beat zuk. If you are max combat, which it sounds like you are, then it’ll probably take a week to get a stone. That’s if you only play 1-2 hours a day. Once you get your first stone it’s super easy to get enough for all zuk capes. Hardest part of the fight is learning zuks mechanics but once you get to him you can practice the mechanics and tele out and keep practicing that’s what I did. I then went on a 8 kill streak of not dying and had extra stones.
I’m not sure what you mean by first rotation. I don’t use finger of death because the special attack of the t95 weapons double all auto attack damage. The special lasts for 30 seconds so it’s more dps to use necromancy, soul sap, and touch of death. Finger is saved for after the special attack. In the beginner guide I have since you use the t90 weapons you use finger more often.
Tbh I have no clue. I afked arch a lot while at work doing the collection to get piece for tetracompasses. If anything I would just follow the wiki runescape.wiki/w/Archaeology_training#106
My perks are the same as the perks page. Only one that isn’t is the undead slayer since that is this boss specific really. I’d use the page though for best way to get certain components if you need to make the perks though. FYI for zammy or Sara components if you have 120 use the mjolnirs unless you wanna farm gear to 9.
id like to add if ur willing to farm a bit just afk kril and zilyana rooms for warpriest pieces for components. i just went to get the full log for those bosses and got enough components of both to make like 5 sets of perks XD@@heresmike
I completely forgot about warpiest armor lol. That is a good point and for kril I do have a 100% afk guide with necro too. I’ll have to keep that in mind when I need more zammy components.
I really appreciate detailed rasial guides, thanks! However, this does seem like half manual at best. I haven't seen many full full revo bars on yt yet, but I've been working on it myself slowly.
Honestly with rasial I don’t think you’ll find a full revo guide since he is a higher end boss. Since he has certain attacks that you would want to use certain abilities it would be hard for a full revo. If you want to practice doing the half revo half manual go to gwd 2 and kill vindi. He’s a great boss to practice and he’s the boss I practiced on to learn half and half. I’ll be creating a guide for necro for him here soon!
@heresmike I agree, but i think a more full revo method for rasial exists, but it's noy public yet. I get 3-4 minute kill times with mostly full revo except for last phase. My method is not refined and my kill times aren't suitable yet. It will take me more time to refine but I'm sure it's possible. Necromancy is a dream for handicapped pvmers who can't press many abilities but still want to kill every boss in this game. I really appreciate all content creators like you for helping me figure out how to full revo and afk most of this great game. Look forward to more of your guides.
My .02 is that if clicking 3 buttons (volley, spec, finger) on a boss you can't afk reduces kill time in hald its worth not being revo. Esp since you have to manually summon 3 congress to start surge and buff. There's no afk so only rev has way less value imo.
Hands down the most straight forward and simple guide I have seen so far. Don't listen to the youtube frogs that are complaining that this isnt "full revo". Let them keep coping that you can fully revo with necromancy
