I've had my RST Pro for six years now and it has seen about 70,000km over that time in all sorts of weather. How did it fare? Its equivalent today is the exceptional value for money Paragon 6.
If it’s any consolation, the Velcro at the cuff of my Klim jacket is going for a Velcro refit by a seamstress as well. That jacket has done you well my friend.
Yes I had a adventure ce jacket and trousers yes well made but I found them much to heavy my jacket was like wearing cardboard unfortunately. When the outlets got wet it was even more heavy
@@terenceokeeffesmotorcyclestuff Oh, just reminded me. Front zips gone 4” from the top. That’s why I’m looking 😂. It was solid until that happened. I’m touring this year and toying between paragon 6 rst which will match my rst trousers or investing in Lindstrands laminated gear. I do like the camel back feature on the rst though and it’s about 1/2 the price but if have a wet day riding I’ll soon regret the rst as gets heavy and won’t dry much in a tent overnight 🤔
@@t-rex4211 I just went a Laminate RST, a little dearer than a Paragon 6 Pro but so far it’s done great in the wet. Not too much in the way of airflow for hot days but what you do get goes right to the body as it gets right passed the waterproof layer bonded to the outer layer. I don’t know that it was worth the extra though on balance?
