Luffy just floating in the sky, laughing, after delivering such an epic finisher, and the lanterns just surrounding him was an amazing moment. He's just so majestic 👑
@@CaptainBuggyTheClown i mean like Gojo, they both came back from the "dead" and gained higher power. And ofcourse, Gear 5 is stated to be the most ridiculous power in op verse for a reason. think about it, your imagination can be your reality.
The score of this episode was amazing, they handled Kaido’s flashback pretty well even tho we didn’t get much to it, the animation for his flashback was great. Clearly we won’t get a Rocks silhouette or appearance in this flashback given how important and legendary of a figure that he is.
@@saradaharunoofthesharingan1028 What happened during that fight isn't as important as what happened during God Valley. We'll probably get more info on the incident nearing Raftel.
@@saradaharunoofthesharingan1028 bruh there is more to god valley than what sengoku spoke of, why would something insane like the rocks pirates and god valley exist in the story with so many mysteries surrounding it if Oda isn’t gonna revisit it in the later arcs Whatever happened there is gonna play relevance to the main story in the future, plus the manga is already setting the stones for a potential god valley flashback
@@justhere6507 we don’t even know if luffy and BB or zoro and mihawk are gonna battle in the end, but the narrative has affirmed them happening in the future
wdm improved? it was always this great bro u didnt like it before ur problem most people dont understand the essence of one piece which is there from the start
@@mrstrangeworld5977 wdm not great he was a skilled fighter and warrior and ppl used him as fighting machine taking away his freedom so he had this mentality where he'll be the strongest and be the top of the world he thinks it's because he was weak at that time he was being used by the government the story is sad and has uniqueness almost nothing is repeated in one piece another one of the many reason it's the greatest fking shounen
@@AntiCx_edits stop meat riding it was lackluster in the manga and everyone agreed. People kept saying they hoped his backstory got the king treatment in the anime and it did. Your whole argument about his character is thanks to the anime which went into more detail about his philosophy.
@@DripJambe why can't someone be just a good fighter and mistreated for it.? Why do u ppl always need backstory like Roger or something XD like bro everyone's past won't be the same deal with it atleast it's unique which most anime miss, one piece having so many characters yet everyone has their unique past is just too good, why can't a character have a normal past XD king is basically a guy who was good at fighting from his childhood and had trouble because of it and turned out to be the way he is rn ya it's a simple backstory so what why do everyone has to be connected with some huge character in the past lol this gives one piece its uniqueness so many normal ppl just reaching the top position in the world just with their raw power no reincarnation shit or anything which happens in most shounen and it's stupid
@@kaleomunginhe's not talking about the post celebration in the manga he's talking about they are probably going to add some random filler epsiodes or maybe just take a long break
Definitely agree with Wellz on this one. Wano had the best animation quality and the best choreographed fights, but NOT ONE person can say they got into One Piece for the animation quality and choreographed fights - it's not what makes One Piece great.
Kaido real deal saw his life flash before his eye. I'm so happy to be alive man. We're truly fortunate to be alive during a time when such a great series is available to us.🙏🏿
I have seen thumbnails of videos talking about the manga, and a certain fight that I personally have been looking forward ever since the archipelago arc. and If thats soon after wano I'm FUCKING hyped. We eating GOOD!
I hear what yall saying but certain stuff has to be dragged out a little, because it’s an anime they gotta extend compared to the manga where it’s just panels. And as far as momo yall gotta realize he’s had his power for a very short amount of time 2 months at most compared to Kaido who had 38 years to master his devil fruit. It’s crazy cause all of post timeskip has been less than 3 months so I give momo some grace on that one😂💯💯
I think every pirate who enters the new world will know about Joyboy eventually. Kaido wanted to be him but couldn't, so he'd rather become the world's greatest oppressor to meet the warrior of liberation.
Thought it was a great episode, but I think they could've done a better job highlighting Kaido's reasoning for getting caught: him being hungry. When Luffy said he wants to make a world where everyone could eat, it mentally stunned Kaido. They of course showed those parts in the episode, but it was less impactful to me. In the manga, the flashback highlighted that story point a little more.
@@abdalrhman7998 No, it was definitely emphasized more than that. Regardless, the "scenes" weren't disjointed in the manga like they were here. In the manga, from a storytelling perspective, it was very clear Luffy's response to Kaido's question was a resolution to a MAJOR pain point in Kaido's early-life: not being able to eat. That point and the emphasis on how much that suffering impacted Kaido wasn't AS clear in the episode. The line about Kaido getting caught so he could eat was after the 6 minute mark, the pertinent question he poses to Luffy was before the 6 minute mark, and Luffy's answer was at the 20 minute mark. As I said, it's disjointed. The message just simply doesn't hit as hard. The episode had a greater emphasis on "war defines you, and the guy who beats me is Joyboy" Oda's portrayal of Kaido's perspective wasn't that shallow in the manga. The episode could've done a better job at portraying Kaido's real perspective, "This fucked up world made me who I am, and I'm here to change it in my own way. If you think you're better than me, Joyboy, how are you going to change it?" The two portrayals are similar, but one has a more profound impact. If Kaido was able to eat whenever he wanted to as young boy/man, there's a high chance he wouldn't have become a victim of war and politics and a thief of joy.
I think what Joel is trying to say is the rooftop stuff going forward chapter 1000 forward even then there are things that don’t matter to the story. For Joel the word he’s using being “cohesive” is not really the used the right way but actually is correct. The fact is we have lots of emphasis placed on characters that actually seem like aren’t going to be major players in the story going forward. Cohesion more or less is; when two things stick together. And wano for the most part is cohesive in isolation (much like wano) but not to the story in many ways. Wano was a great time nonetheless can’t wait for the major events coming up.
When RT TV finished Dressrosa, they put that arc over Marineford. They called it the best One Piece arc at the time (besides Wellz). However, when it comes to rating Wano, they say it is worse than Marineford because it felt "dragged out". That is just hilarious.
Specifically just Wellz is the one who was saying that Wano was dragged out and you just said that he didn't put Dressrosa as the best either so I don't see the contradiction. The rest seemed to have Wano as their favourite, especially Pat.
Facts he was exactly who I expected him to be 😂 he’s a despicable character but ion get why ppl were so upset and annoyed w him all the time at certain times yea
I agree with wellz there were couple of times I felt that the plot was stretching that did kind of ruin the overall experience. Also plot armor for kinemon
Luffy floating Infront of the people of Wanos wish lanterns and them all becoming true because Luffy stopped by their island also being in gear 5 just adds to the writing.
Episode was great and I don't even mind Momo frfr. dude just got to the age and the understanding (from Yamato) that he needed to, to even use his abilities and had to learn to do all that in like a mere 20 minutes to an hour. At EIGHT? Nigga i'd be stressssinng LMAO
Soooooo..........Aint NOBODY gone ask Rob how hard he was kicking sombody ass to the point he got that mufuckin leg wrapped up and needed the chair for support or am I trippin?
I agree that marine ford is a better arc than wano because the fact that we didnt know who was gonna live or whos gonna die in marine ford. In wano we all knew that the straw hat crew was gonna walk out of this alive because their the main cast so they're wasnt this intensely that one of the straw hats are in real danger. Unlike in marine ford where characters we love just as much as the main crew got killed off and bunch of other world defining stuff happen like with black beard or with shanks interference, etc.
Maybe emotionally but from a narrative perspective this arc was literally the most important. Like 10 yrs we have been building up to this in anime and the last saga was all about this in the new world. I don't see how this is not the most important arc.
I can see Joel as a manga reader and part of the community thinking that but honestly anime only Wano is insane TOEI went above and beyond for the adaptation
I really curious to see what the anime does after this. Oda skipped a lot to get the Egghead started and the anime is so close to catching up, so imagine there's going to be filler. I just hope the filler isn't a bunch of random things happening with no connection to the story.
tbh the momo stuff didn't feel as long in the manga as the anime, the anime adding so many, and I mean, so many flashbacks that they just simply did not show in the manga, toei animation just had to keep adding more and more filler to fill up episodes, so they liked to show a lot of repeated scenes, like the momo struggle, the people in the capital dancing, the fodder fighting in the live floor, it was really the anime's fault for making it feel EVEN more dragged out than it already was
I remmebr back then when these dudes was strictly naruto fans only saying one piece was trash especially dude on the far left with gray hair now look 😂😂😂😂
Not necessarily, Luffy was giving all he got, The one who wasnt at full power was Kaido, And Shanks power is unknown, So Luffy still has a lot to grow in power, By EOS he will be the strongest
