RTI Mas 49/56 update pt 2 Bore condition?

I just stopped by the gun shop to check out the Mas49/56 I ordered from RTI and the bolt is rusted shut. The finish and stock condition looks like hot garbage compared to yours so I definitely pulled the short stick. 😅

Good idea on the washers. I'd definitely use acraglas over JB Weld. I have used both to bed rifles and the acraglass is definitely stronger/harder. I recently used it for the first time after using other stuff like JB for years and Im super impressed with the acraglass. It's not cheap but it's worth the extra cost plus being able to dye it whatever color you want is real handy.

These aren't the reconditioned, or refurbished rifles from RTI are they ? Don't appear to be .

where did you find ammo

I have 100% avoided slamfires in my 49/56 by using CCI #34 primers made to prevent just such a thing, and I believe CCI 250 mag primers have the same cup thickness as the 34s, with a slightly different priming compound. These would just as well, so far as my research shows,

Great gun, I got a refurbished mas 49/56, holy shit. It looks brand New. The bore is so freaking perfect. Could you give me the Info where you got that beautiful firing pin and the extra mag.i would like to buy them as well. Thank you and I enjoy your videos
