Thanks for your video! Venus Laser RTK is an innovation product. It's the first GNSS receiver combined with laser of our company. Then we also launched the other Laser RTK- Mars/Mars Pro Laser RTK. Welcome to learn more about them. And could I share your video to our social media?

This would be cool for Pipe line Asbuilts, not to get in the ditch anymore, just stay on the top and beam down to top of pipes. Did he have a price yet for the USA market?

I can see it's use for manhole invert levels, pipe and other hard to get points. I think the price was €5000 or $5500 plus taxes in US which is pretty fair. Send me an email and I can put you in contact with their Sales Rep

@@flyingsurveyor ... Is that the machine alone? Then add data collector, an I assume their software?

@@flyingsurveyor@flyingsurveyor ...OH, and by the way, I like your videos; I also run the Emlid RS2 and RS3 with a CT8 data collector and FGA software now for the last 4) years I sold my old 5800 Trimble and don't regret it one moment. But kept my Trimble 5600 gun.

@@parexc07 thank you very much, your comment is much appreciate it. If the equipment still serves you well, is no point to waste your money. Regarding GNSS I think that a new low brand receiver is better than a 10+ years premium brand receiver. Btw, I had the opportunity to speak with somebody from Emlid at Geo Business event in London and they told me that there will be some cool upgrades regarding their software.

@@parexc07 for $5500 plus taxes was definately included receiver, controller, software and I think that also accesories like detail pole and adaptor. I saw that their products are quite used in Europe

Its a cool consept but not sure where you can apply it. It most likely depends what are the countries guidelines for topographic surveys. Where im from you cant mesure asfalt with GNSS only with totalstation, and any surface that has grass you cant get the ground mesurement with the laser.

@m2rtsoo I can see it more as solution for inaccessible points like the invert levels of manholes, the bottom of a small bridge or any point that you can't access safely. Imagine that it's like you have a 10m+ pole, or like a Total Station EDM (with shorter range) without needing to carry or setup one. When you don't need the laser you can screw it on a classic survey pole and use it like a normal receiver.

How does the accuracy change depending on the angle you shoot? I mean you can also get to manhole pipes with a tiltcompensated gnss with a pole attached.

It’s basically a laser tape measure incorporated in the GNSS receiver. Of course you can get same shots with your pole, but your pole is usually 2 meters and you need touch physically the point with the tip of the pole. I can see some benefit on some of my jobs, like deep trenches, manholes, etc. I am sure that there are surveyors that can find this function useful
