He did this at another panel, and it was fantastic. He brought three Guardians onstage with him (non magic folk) and started talking about his job at RTX as a box folder. He wouldn't answer any questions as Joel, only as Jared the Box Folder… I like the Joels.
This is almost as funny as the prepanel thing he did for the intern panel. Where he pretended to be an intern that folded the boxers. And had three guardians playing along on stage. It was hilarious.

@@xian5618 He just kind of fell into alt right (for lack of a better word) conspiracies (confirmed via his Twitter activity), started randomly beefing with the other early guys (like when he said Gavin deserved to have that home intruder come and try to merc him because he supported gun controls), and was just generally hostile towards his colleagues/management. It’s all rumours but I there may have been some white nationalist rhetoric thrown in there too. He apparently was not a fan of the corporate diversity direction the company took. I’m fuzzy on the details though, maybe try the subreddit for a better explanation. Anecdotal but I’ve never heard anyone mention him since he was fired / stopped coming in, which is unusual as Burnie, Gus, and Geoff still hang out with plenty of prior friends and former staff.
RT went under for many dumb decisions including hiring unfunny nobodies but out of all the actual great people fired from RT and AH for no reason Joel isnt one of them, he was supposedly horrible to work with when off camera, he made many questionable tweets including one where he said someone should break into Gavins house with a gun and he also admitted he didnt come to work for weeks before he was fired, the guys was great on camera but he very much dug his own grave there
@@axlejones6281 Why did he say that about Gavin? Edit: Oh I see. The comment was because Gavin is for gun control and he thinks that banning guns would work or be effective. Apparently he said Jacks leftist friends should burn down his house which I can only assume is because Jack supported the BLM riots or something which if he said that because Jack really is for the riots then yeah he's not really wrong for that. He apparently also posted right wing conspiracy theories but honestly from what I can see nothing he did was that bad.
