The card performs well but priced at 400$-500$ it's just too hard to consider it because the 6600 is also available in that price range ,wonder if kryzp would test that
@@stewbanker Nope. Not a stitch. This is the EXACT performance I calculated based on the cards higher in the stack. It's the price that is sheer bullshit. this is a MAX $169 card. It's an X050. They NEVER went for this much. This is really sad. The manufacturers themselves are doing the gouging now.
@@saricubra2867 Not true. Game runs fine on 6-8 cores but it maxes at 8 cores. Older 6 core procs like FX or even first gen Ryzen not so much but anything with good IPC at least 6 cores it runs fine. Again, the engine maxes core scaling to 8 so 12 cores is overkill, but then it is for almost all PC gaming.
This is the first 50 class that kind of surprised me. I wasn't expecting 1080ti performance or anything, but I'm kinda impressed by the performance. Too bad you're definitely not getting this card for MSRP. If you manage to, at least you'll have DLSS access on this card.
The performance is really not that great. Just 85% the performance of a 2060 and not much better than a 1660 super. It can't even do 1080p everything maxed without dropping from 60 fps. That's worse value than cards from 3 years ago even at mrsp. And that is unfortunately a common trend also with the 6500 xt
@@maaax1173 Late response, but ultra settings is honestly quite overrated. Drop some of those settings that don't add much visual difference and you've got a solid 1080p 60fps card, with DLSS access as I've said.
@@pengu6335 My point is that the raw performance relative to what was available years ago is not good, that goes for all current mid range and low end cards, from Nvidia and AMD. I also don't think that Ultra settings are worth using, but it's quite embarrassing that a 2022 GPU can't run an almost 7 year old game at 1080p max settings with 60 fps
I keep coming back to you as my go-to gpu benchmarking channel. Seems the RTX 3050 performs on par with a 1070 Ti. It's literally within 5% of the numbers I get on my GTX 1080 FE.

Everything I've seen about this card so far leads me to the conclusion that an RTX 3050 is just a 1660ti with some extra Vram, DLSS, and miniscule amount of ray tracing cores. I moved up from a 1660ti to a 3070, but could definitely recommend this card to anyone wanting to do a budget build.
yeah its a no brainer for a budget build. as 1650s suck but 1660super still goes for much higher price than 3050 due to them being a better mining cards.
i3 12100f is a little better on games but i think i5 10400f is better for other things because it have more cores and threads (Sorry if there's some wrong words, i'm still learning about english)
I think in the long run the 10400f will be the better choice, even if it is slightly slower in current games. You're also only going to notice that slightly better performance now if you have a high end GPU.
My 1080 performs better than this. I don’t think anyone should spend any more money than what it would cost for that card, just for DLSS and maybe a couple more years life.
Try enabling the flaming bullets cheat... take a car into a place dense with foliage and grass, and then shoot the car with a minigun or high fire-rate weapon until there is a giant ball of fire on the body of the car. That should really put the graphics card to the test. 😈

I guess for 330$ it's not too bad if you really want to do streaming and recording. You could also consider a capture card, it'll be cheaper and do the same thing, but no GPU upgrade then :)
That's s very good price considering these times. What country do you live in? Here in Peru the rtx3050 sales for about 550 dollars. It's just insane. I'm sticking with my bullet proof RX470 for some time.

I'm getting the exact same FPS where he got them while playing at 8K Very high settings but those FPS for me in 800×600 all set to normal (minimum settings) on my, {Intel HD Graphics 2500} [128MB VRAM].
