Just bought by 6600xt for 299 this week. Runs great. I would have to pay 100 more dollars for the 3060. Same day prices.

i just did the same for a build i am doing with my granddaughter. i was going to get a 6600 but how can you turn down a $299 6600xt. it might get a few bucks cheaper in the ensuing few months but the budget discount curve has been flattening. So yeah i think we got a great deal at $299.

Depends, If for gaming fully 6600 xt. If for both productivity and gaming rtx 3060

Always go for AMD. I recently bought the RX 6800Xt. With SAM enabled and Overclocking this card absolutely destroys the 3080. It is even very close and sometimes better than the 3080 TI. On top of that AMD Drivers are far more advanced when it comes to increasing performance of the card. Lets not forget FSR and FSR 2.0. Go with AMD if you don’t care about Raytracing.

AMD‘s Drivers are known for their stability which means every game runs smoothly without any bugs, crashes etc. The Adrenalin Software which is included in the driver lets you optimise a bunch of AMD features and on top of that you can manually overclock and undervolt your GPU. Its amazing!
