I think the 4050 is great for full hd gaming. pick up a 4050 laptop for a couple hundred less than a 4060 laptop, as long as you want to game in full hd.
The reason why 4050 stutters is if u notice his clocks on the 4050 drop often which means hes not playing on high perfomance probably balanced or something else while the clocks in 4060 stay consistent entire time i had same issue on my brand new laptop acer nitro 5 but i fixed my cpu and clocks to stay at specific frequency and its smoother less stutters in general and a bit more stable fps with less drops
i have an hp spectre x360 with intel core ultra 7 and an rtx 4050 and the stutter comes and goes every few minutes even on highest performance mode idk why
@@khalilsubahi1310 try to get latest nvidia drivers and use power efficiency option in ur laptop what this does is it keeps turbo boost on but limits cpu to 3.2 ghz and doesnt let it go beyond that which is good for temps and so on while still having decent perfomance and keeps clocks high during gaming also try to use dlss on games it helps alot to smoothen out fps and stuff since laptops are not beasts like pc i use dlss on balanced on pretty much most games even though i can run then 60 fps native too since it makes things smoother and less load / heat on my laptop which is most important for me i even locked my fps to 60 globally bcs when its unlocked temps go 80C+ and i dont like that what can i say laptop comes with some advantages but you also gotta sacrifice some things on them its not pc so cooling sucks and sadly we cant use it on max unless u want high temps even with cooling pad

@@Publicchannel5 Rtx 4050 Is good enough for playing, but the price difference between a laptop with a 4050 or a 4060 Is very small. If you can, go with a 4060, that's what i will do next year

Go for the nitro 5, the hp victius has a plethora of issues and poor design choices which hinder thermals, upgradability and longevity in the long run.
@@alexvaz7531 I would like to add that the Nitro 5s always tend to have horrid displays, the 2023 version only covers 60.4% of the sRGB colour gamut, which will make it feel washed out.

If you have the money and it's not going to impact you why not go for the 4060 but if you don't have the money to the point where it's not going to affect you at all I would probably take the 4050 to be honest depends how long you're going to have the laptop for and if you plan on upgrading in the future

@@natsuyuki5744I only saw one video on this laptop but there the battery life was only 1 hr less than the version with igpu, 4 hrs with igpu & 3 hrs with dgpu. I would say it is worth it, wish the prices were this good back when I brought my laptop (Helios Neo 16 rtx 4050) one year ago, 4050/4060 laptops were expensive af lol
@@___joshwin1006 depends on price because people are grabbing this laptop i.e Ryzen 7 7435HS rtx 4060 8GB with 24Gb ram at 78k to 85k which is very good deal and no other company is providing like that so instead of paying 72-75k for the intel one just upgrade your budget a little bit and get this one you will not regret it .. Otherwise if you are getting the intel one below 70k or 72k like that you can go with that or you can just expand your budget a bit and get this one because this is more powerful and value for money .
I got my Laptop with an i7 gen.13 4050 and 17‘ screen for 800 Bucks new and im impresed for 1080p Gaming. No Problem and smooth in the Resident evil Remakes 2 3 4 + raytrecing, and in Games with dlss3 Support and frame gen. Is the 4050 realy good and cheap.

4050 hits the sweet spot. Significant jump from 3050. On the other hand consumes less power and less overheats than 4060. For me personally 4060 not worth the extra cash. I am totally fine playing on 30-60 FPS. I don't see much difference. But yeah if you are crazy about high FPS and have extra cash go for 4060 why not.
Yeah 4050 does the job. Most of the haters I saw don't have any clue about actual details of this card. They just see it's xx50 at end and start shitposting about how bad xx50 gpus are, when rtx 4050 is clearly an exception to this rule. One even claimed that 4050 desktop is bad and 4050 laptop is worse than desktop version, when 4050 desktop doesn't even exist😂

What game you have for fortnite , cod , overwatch and valorant 4050 its so good 200 fps -300 in fortnite low series and 180-220 in cod low setings with dlss
lol. those cards have rtx in the name but their ray tracing performance sucks balls. you need a much more expensive model to have decent rt performance.. no less than 4070 super and not a mobile chip. desktop only

I was having same mindset like you but I think about condition that if i bought pc then family is going to have eyes on me 24hrs and I can't travel with device and no games anywhere. So laptop is best for every teenage for gaming and productivity. Many people make bad decision here they underestimate laptops this devics can easily go for like 5-6 years for smooth gaming.

@@mehfinofficial I am buying Asus tuf 4060... I saw reviews of that laptop it is preety good tho. 8 gb varm is good job for future proof gaming and for productivity it's overkill laptop inshort best all rounder. For 1L I got that laptop good in that particular price range.

i hope the RTX 4050 desktop will run rdr2 at 60 avg. otherwise i would not be impressed. Plus with these number i don't expect much from ray tracing being enabled. i personally am waiting for the RTX 4060 TI 16Go.
