Best bang for buck card in this lineup is clearly the 4070S the 4070ti super is way underperforming the 200$ (33%) cost uplift and performs at most 20-24% better compared to the 4070S
That difference in performance does go in the favor of the 4070ti super at 4k but the performance isn't good enough without upscaling to play the most intensives games at decent frame rates... For that I'd go for the RX 7900XT or 4080 super at least (they do cost a lot more tho)
@@eloikmorissette8897 4080 súper solo le gana por 1 fps a veces 2 fps y como máximo 3 fps. tu mismo puedes buscar comparaciones y comprobarlo, 4080 súper solo si eliminan la 4080, he oido que la súper viene para abaratar costes,, pero también he oído que la normal tiene mejores materiales de construcción. no sé,, hay que estudiar muy bien para elegir una cosas de estas.
ok that's your opinion this is not a reason to delete the benchmarks in 1080p it is the most used resolution it is not because the card is made for 4k or 1440p that we should not do the tests in 1080p I want as many fps as possible.
@@MiaouMiam didn’t say they shouldn’t do it or that they should delete them 😎 but if a game in 5 years needs a 4090 power equivalent to play at 1080p, something is very wrong with that game code… I wouldn’t imagine in 2024 to but a 600€ card thinking playing in 1080p. Though those that want max fps, it’s a viable option.
Love my MSI 4070S OC. Only 210W tdp. My same bequite power plant only 650W and nice 2K frames VS. My old 2060 super. +30-40% more power and dlss und raytracing 3.0 nice ❤❤❤

Thanks for your work. 4070 ti super is so loud, my 3080 gigabyte eagle oc is 60c stock and around 1200-1700 rpm. If undervolted around 1400-1500rpm tops, usually in 1200 ballpark.

I bought my MSI RTX 4070 Gaming X Triple Fan last year for about P44800 ($770 as per conversation today) Now the new RTX 4070 Super same brand and line up is the same price as my RTX 4070 when I bought it.
4070S in many games = 4070Ti if you run it at 3Ghz (and mems +1.25Ghz). 3Ggz core and 11.5-12Ghz VRAM and +20W TDP is what most of pieces can achieve and it adds the 10 percent missing to the 4070TI non S.
i just upgraded from super to ti super and in the first 2 games im playing it does feel underwhelming. But with my oled the extra 10 fps does seem to get me into that 85-100 fps 1440p or 4k that you need to feel fluid with OLED. also the extra ram might come into play at somepoint before i upgrade again.
Yes because aorus gpu coolers overperform. I skipped low end 4070S to get a aorus 4070 (came from gt730/1050timobile) .. it runs below 45 c in most titles. 35-38 C in games like FH5. 🤯
@@DylanCastellanos-mz8kf You wouldn't understand. Here climate gets ridiculous hot during summer.. so I had to pick a gpu with good coolers i.e Aorus/Rog. Here 4070: 700-850$, 4070S: 850-1000$. 4070Ti/S 1000-1200$. 4080/S 1600-1800$. 4090: 2400-2700$. I could have gotten a inno3d/ventus 4070S for 850$ but those high temps are scary. I dont want any unnecessary headache.

it's GPU, i have 4060, i would say if you set lowest setting you can play well.but high setting can' becase im sitting at 1440 DP, remaster , Super res 80 FPS. BDO dont have option for DLSS so it pretty useless :D
the diff between the 4070 ti and the 4070 s is mainly on the chip clock?... i guess if the 4070 s was oced could have matched? can you do a video like that to see it? i know there is a diff in the cuda cores but is not a big diff
Nope ! Not worth the upgrade..stay with your 3080ti! The new cards might consume less power but the 3080ti is a total beast of a card. I have a 3080 and only reason i upgraded was because i managed to get a good deal on a 4090 on newegg at the time.
You should post test of Alan Wake 2 in jungle scene bcoz its more intense on card not the city scene which you featured in this video...anyway looking forward to ray tracing test bcoz am confused between 4070S & Ti Super which one to pick !!!
the 4070 ti su is better^^ I have the 4070 Ti and my friend got the 4070 ti su... the diff isnt that huge just that he has the 5-10 fps more (with ray tracing) otherwise feels pretty much the same BUT there arent that many games that really need 12gb+ of vram^^
I am still on the am4 platform with a amd 3600 and rtx 2070,so i think my last am4 upgrade will be the 5700x3d with the 4070s thats good enough for 1440p........
Much bigger boost then I expected which brand 4070 ti super did you use? I'm buying one this week instead of the 4080. For competative fps shooters this may be there best card performance/dollar in 1080p and 1440p Like why tf woupd I buy a 4080 super? When I don't go from 49 to 60fps in alan wake. I go from 49 to 56 not even joking 56 fps for over 200 dollars more? No thank you. Just shows modern gaming. All I have to do is put 1 setting lower to match that haha. We are all using dlss on it anyways in games like alan wake so yeah no difference perceivable. Now the benefits are still getting the 4080 dye you are still getting 16gb of vram. So yeah the benefits are there for much less. If you don't want that get a 4070 super and call it a day. If you do get the 4070 ti super. Its that simple.
WHo told that we won"t need 16Gbs of VRAM in the nearest future? 4070Ti Super already eats more than 12,6 gbs in 4k in some games and it gets big benefits of it actualy/ Still 4070 Super looks best for the price
@@SPLFagos Дело не только в кривых разрабах, а в чрезмерно высоком разрешении в котором нет нужды. Все эти проблемы с низким количеством кадров и недостатками памяти на самом деле надуманные. Нет смысла гнаться за самыми высокими разрешениями и настройками графики, которые зачастую неотличимы от средних, но ресурсов при этом потребляют в два раза больше.
I've heard stories that in 4K resolution in the game Black Desert Online, distant objects are displayed in more detail, is that true? It seems to me that running through a half-empty Week does not load the video cards too much, maybe it would be better for the test if the runs were on the Calfeon??
depending on the settings, I manage to have 30 fps with my 4070 ti in calpheon because I maxed out everything and using the screenshot mode xD (its not ment for gameplay...) tbh the game isnt really well optimized... like it doesnt look better then ffxiv with a bunch of mods + raytracing/reshade and still runs worse (steady 120+ fps in towns with 100+ players)
There are some videos out there already comparing the 2... The 7900 GRE wins most of the time in raster by about 10-13% but anything rt the 4070 S gets the upper hand. The 7900GRE does costs 50$ less than the 4070S tho so for raw performance and more vram (and sadly a bit more frametime spiking) the 7900GRE is the winner depending on the workload
Not turning on ray tracing didn't help this test, we would see the 4070 ti super hitting extra miles on games where a 4070 ti could be vram bottlenecked, so i don't get why not to test at least re4 with it on
WTF ?! RTX 4070Ti Super fan speed 2200-2400 and temp 65-70. Fan 2200 is so loude. RTX 4070Ti fan speed 1400 and temp 50-55. And core clock RTX 4070Ti +100-150Mhz. What is wrong with RTX 4070Ti Super ?
@@tylerdurden8416 где она разогнанная то ? на частоты посмотрите. По большому счету у ти-супер шина 256 и +4 Гб памяти - остальное по мелочи. Разница в игровой производительности просто тишки и тишки супер - в среднем 3-5%. Я видел много разных обзоров тишки супер и там были разные версии вендоров и нигде не было подобного. В других обзорах у тишки супер и частоты выше, чем в этом "тесте", но температуры близки к просто тишке и скорость вентиляторов также близка. А тут какая-то фигня.
