RTX 4090 vs. RTX 3090 - Gaming Test in 4K 

I'll be blown away when its like 8K or something.

This aren't real benchmarks. This exact RTX 4090 runs with different power and thermals. The FPS figures also don't match other benchmarks.

This and Neo G8 240hz will be another level

Tbh, it's all a manipulation to memory hole you. The 1080Ti played games (released at the time) with high performance, similar to the 3090 here. No DLSS, no tricks. Remember, "new" games that actually push the 4090 aren't really even out yet, so actual performance will drop sooner rather than later. So let's say when those "current" games come out (because we need to do apples to apples), the 4090 will basically give you 50% (maybe less) performance increase for 2.28x the price. Not the deal Nvidia is making it out to be, although I guess a better price comparison would be the Titan Xp, which actually falls in line with the "halo product" that is the 4090, so maybe I'm undermining my entire argument, since the 90 card has basically become to prosumer option before going to high-end Quadro. Though I'd still maintain my argument when looking strictly at the 80 series cards, I don't think those numbers add up in that case, though even the launch price of the 3080 makes sense for the 2 people in existence that got it for that $$.

I’d get the 4090 but the price in Europe is ridiculous. 4080 makes no sense, but I think I got a decent GPU to serve me for a while.

Seems to be bugged, those temp jumps even when consistantly at 99% usage dont make any sense.

AMD adaptive issues is still a problem. The 7k series vid is out and its not as fast sadly.

@@Kvantys А 3090 в 3 раза быстрее что ли 3070? Нет конечно. Разница между 3090 и 3080 порядка 15%, между 3080 и 3070 порядка 20% итого между 3090 и 3070 разница примерно в 30%. Там где у 3090 65 фпс, у 3070 будет 45.

According to hardware unboxed if you cap the fps the power consumption is lower on the rtx 4090

ну да, тока осталось найти на неё 2700 бакинских, или 170 ка рублей, а через 2-3 года выйдет 5 серия которая уделает эту карту раз в 5, в 21 году 3080 если не ошибаюсь стоила 2600 зелёных, теперь если поискать, то новую можно за 1200 баксов её взять, а с азона ещё дешевле, суть такова что через годик полтора 4090 упадёт в цене % на 30 минимум, кст ждём карту от амд в ноябре

Its easily worth it. You wont have to upgrade for many years to come. Future proof card in every way. There is always a way to get into GPU limits. Even at 1080p.

Remember, it's twice the performance for twice the price. Make sure you upgrade to something good value.

lol 8K, 2 gens probably before that is going to be reasonable. They have to get way more efficient, Earth can't handle the spike to the power grid? 😆

They will still sell out, no doubt. If you want the best you've got to pay the price and with these numbers i can see the 4090 lasting a few years.

The PCB itself is tiny so you can figure something out.

No, not really that card was the same price as the 1080 for 30% more performance just a year later, plus that was a gaming card this is a titan

well, to be fair, NVIDIA advertised the 100%-200% stuff while stating that *DLSS 3.0 was turned on* for games that support it. You don't see that much gain here since the test in this video did not use DLSS 3.0

Sadly, these are not real benchmarks. I will have RTX 4090 Gaming Trio tomorrow and will be able to compare as I already have RTX 3090. I saw different videos on the 4090 Gaming Trip and it would never ever run above 70c. The power figures also looks not real at all.

4090 will be same place when 5090 will launch..like always but thats not make 3090 potato...its 1k euro gpu atm...i bought it on launch day and still run like beast...let me guess...ppl like your comment always cant even afford 3070 tier gpu

Can confirm, will have the exact RTX 4090 tomorrow. I've already saw different video from someone who had this card and it would never run with such temps and power figures.
