Are you referring to the Catalina and not this bike? If so I will add a not about that, I’ll look more into it. Thanks for bringing this to my attention

@@GTNOfficial Both the Catalina and this bike. Definitely on the Catalina, that’s also why the basket is all messed up. Assembled correctly, the basket hooks over the handlebars. The steering and comfort in both bikes will be better and safer if assembled correctly. I own the Catalina and also am long time long distance cyclist and mountain biker. I build and repair bicycles. Assembling these EBikes is the same as a traditional bicycle.

@@MichelleHotchkissArt this bike isn’t too affected by it as it rides perfectly fine just with the handlebars slightly closer. It’s definitely much more noticeable on the Catalina. I apologize for that mistake and am working to correct it

@@GTNOfficial It truly is messing up the riding geometry to have things backwards and definitely isn’t safe as a correctly assembled bike. The strength of the front fork is compromised and even makes balancing more difficult, among other things. Try assembling it correctly and you will notice the difference. It’s fine if you choose to ride a bike that isn’t assembled correctly, that’s your choice, but that needs to be made perfectly clear to viewers, that you have it backwards and it’s your decision to ride it that way, that if they choose to assemble and ride their bike backwards, they are choosing to ride in an unsafe manner. I also can’t imagine X-treme ebikes would really be OK with this, and as someone who puts out reviews, I also imagine the accurate of your reviews is important to you as you are representing the X-treme company, and well as the safety of your viewers. I’ve said what I can, and if you are still convinced that assembling the bike wrong is fine and simply moves the handlebars back closer - which can cause problems with turning - turn I wish you luck. Stay safe and consider the safety of your viewers.
