I’m sorry to break this to everyone, but JR is probably not coming back anytime soon. Making videos was starting to affect his mental health in a negative way (which isn’t surprising, considering he’s been doing this for 10 years, and he did it non stop for 7 years) He’s burnt out. I know this is shocking to a lot of people, but sometimes you just have to move on, the guy is 20 years old, he’s grown up. Please be supportive no matter what happens.

I'm pretty sure that if he made the center pieces taller (with the height going towards the core) it would make the puzzle tighter therefore adding stability... maybe he thought of that but it still had issues with like either being assembled or catching idk. I just know both paper and Rubik's Cubes and that's my take when seeing them.
