@@mrcritical6751 oh my god now that you say it! I kind of wish it could’ve been the Tardis design for Edge of Time/Edge of Reality, since that game also focused on memory a bit

Yes I strongly agree and give my thanks. I don't have Disney + and am still deciding whether to do so or not. I must say I thought the emotion in Millie Gibson's eyes was sublime. She reminded me a bit of Sarah Jane in '76.

Hi, me too. I am curious whether you have seen this latest season. I haven't yet as I don't like the idea of paying for a streaming service for just one show. The first few episodes just from watching RU-vid reviews left me doubtful but then some later ones seemed quite cool and then bang Sutekh! I miss DW not being on the ABC. Would you recommend I give in and stream Disney+ or wait for a dvd box set release (hoping there will be one)? Cheers from Tassie

@triplejazzmusicisall1883 I already had Disney+ when Doctor Who came out so it was no added expense for me. Regarding the new season; I mostly liked the 60th specials and Episodes 3-5 of the new season were really good imo. I think I'll like the final as well but time will tell. I use Disney+ to watch old simpsons reruns, marvel stuff, Star Wars and other things so I think its a worthwhile investment. I don't know your personal situation and tbh I've got a fairly good income but I think its worthwhile even if you hate the new Doctor Who season.

​@@triplejazzmusicisall1883I definitely do recommend watching it. A lot of RU-vid reviewers are just trying to instill this feeling of impending doom into the fans of Doctor Who. The season was actually really good, and it is worth the watch. I don't know if you should give into Disney for just Doctor Who. It's really up to how and when you want to watch the season.

​@triplejazzmusicisall1883 unfortunately they're apparently not releasing the new season on DVD in Australia. Disney has exclusive distribution and they're obviously trying to push people to watch on the service. I think only the first episode is a dud. The last is okay. The other episodes range from at least enjoyable (Devil's Chord, Rogue are quite fun) to genuinely pretty great (73 Yards, Dot and Bubble).

Why exactly? I don't think you understand the meaning of Tales of the TARDIS. They're suppose to bring back old stories with a some bonus on it. Stories that not many people would have saw without it. Anyone can watch adventures with 10, 11, 12 and 13...

If this follows the same rules as the other tales of the tardis episodes, this isn’t literally ruby and 15, this is the tardis remembering not only them but alternate versions of them, which is why the others were old and why the tardis looks different. They aren’t the dr or the tardis they’re memories of them.

@@Willy_Fisher *spoilers for the finale!* This scene would fit right in just before the doctor lands on the planet with the woman and her spoon. They are wearing the same sort of clothes. The only real issue is that this would imply that Mel should be present.

@@Willy_Fisher I’m pretty sure it is the real people in Tales From The Tardis and it’s more it’s plucking people from their timelines, if they weren’t the real people then the 1st and 2nd Doctor episodes would have a lot less impact

I’m pretty sure they’re scenes from Empire of Death too. We already saw Ncuti’s Doctor in the Remembered TARDIS in the trailer.

@@IHARumor yep, plus these feel like they could easily slot into the episode as a pre-climax scene where The Doctor gets ideas on how to take Sutekh out. On one hand that's great but on the other hand its really sad that the cast of The Fourth Doctor's era is in such bad shape that they couldn't get anybody involved in that era to come back for the Fourth Doctor episode. Y'know at least the Third Doctor episode was able to get Kathy Manning, it was a little weird throwing Clyde in there but it worked

@@mrcritical6751 Clyde and Jo really bonded when she appeared on his show the Sarah Jane Adventures so it was a continuation of that.

Probably because this tied into Empire of Death where the Remembered TARDIS literally appeared.

Tom is retired, he’s growing incredibly frail and has chosen to stop working, he even stopped working the convention circuit

@@josephchambers2000 yep, but Tom’s been a class act about it, even gave fans a little window of time where they could mail him pictures and Fourth Doctor merch to sign so fans who never got the opportunity to meet him at cons could get his signature
