My absolute favorite DreamWorks animated movie is The Prince of Egypt and as a Christian myself the movie really did spoke to me and it's still my favorite of the DreamWorks animated movies it's very well animated it adapted the biblical story of accident wonderfully and it focus on a great character development story between Moses and Ramses it's easily their best work out there.

Awesome review Zack, I can't wait to see this movie tomorrow. Surprised by the underwhelming reception for Ruby Gillman to me it looks like the best Dreamworks movie since How To Train Your Dragon 3 The Hidden World and I wouldn't mind sequels to this one!

Great review! This was pretty good! I really liked this for what is had to offer and I still think Dreamworks did their extreme best with this. If this doesn't so well for the studio, well there's always the chance they can redeem themselves with the new Trolls film comin' out this November.

Great review Zack I honestly got no plans on paying money to go see this movie in theaters I would rather see Pixar's Elemental over this movie or heck I would rather we watch Spider-Man across the spider-verse over mediocre excuse of an animated film from dreamworks such a pity from the studio.

Really had a fine time with this one. I feel like DreamWorks is just really trying to keep up with today's teens and technology. We get that and rolled up with this cool story

I wonder what's going on these days that animated films are struggling. Back in the day, you'd sew the PIXAR banner and knew it would automatically be a big box office hit. Very strange times.

Loved your review Zack you did phenomenal and honestly my favorite DreamWorks animated movie is the first kung fu panda movie I've been a huge fan of the franchise for years and I'll never stop being a fan :)

I thought this one was ok, I thought it captured the charm of the Dreamwork films like Shark Tale, Megamind, or Monsters vs Aliens. But not Powerhouses like Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and Dragons.

Who the hell wants Shrek 5? Who thought people went to see _Puss in Boots 2_ just for some ogre? Nobody goes "my favorite part of the movie was the cameo of Puss, Donkey and Shrek walking on a bridge with a full moon in the background, like Timon, Pumbaa, and Simba did." Shrek is washed up, but Puss still has potential.

I really do hope the DreamWorks could get back up next year with movies like Kung Fu Panda 4 and maybe a few other films but if they keep going on this downhill streak then they are in serious trouble because I really don't want to see them keep going on this realm of mediocrity and I think trolls 3 is probably going to be even worse than Ruby Gilman.

And fact Ruby Gilman teenage kraken is bombing miserably horribly at the box office and you could tell that it is just not doing well financially and I would say critically for DreamWorks you can tell the marketing was not very good and I really have to blame it on universal because they're focusing more on their marketing for their upcoming r-rated 3 hour epic war drama Oppenheimer so honestly I blame it on universal for the marketing on the really is no reason to see it in theaters and sence this movie is bombing hard I would really want them to remove it out of the theater I just put it onto streaming it's better to watch it on streaming than in the theater.

I liked the movie, but the marketting is a tad misleading. The movie poster in your thumbnail is a prime example. In the movie, a grand conflict between kraken and mermaids is implied but doesn't occur in that way in the story. 🤷

I have not seen the boss baby but I know how awful that movie is that is considered the worst of DreamWorks.
