you know what i am the most judgmental person when it comes to soap characters! so i can't believe i'm saying this but i actually like ruby .i think she has livened the show up a bit .give her a decent story line and i think she will deliver .unlike some of the long running ones that should of gone ages ago example paddy burk .marlon pringle and mandy the gruffelo now there what you call mega annoying 🙄

Beth Cordingly is an actress... she's playing a fictional character... it's her job to bring the personality and traits of that character to life through the art of performance. True, Ruby is nasty and vile, and annoying to the people around her, but that's the way the character is written and meant to be portrayed... So, if her portrayal of Ruby comes across onscreen as nasty and vile, and gives you exactly that impression, then she is playing her part PAR EXCELLENCE! The same way she played her bitchy character in Family Affairs back in 2000.

Cain and Ruby have been at each other lately. Hopefully they won't literally be "at it" if you get my meaning. It may sound rubbish given Cain's eternal love for Moira, but you just never know as Ruby may turn out to be the one doing the conquering. And if it happens or if Ruby does end up sleeping or having an affair with somebody else, she could potentially become the show's newly-established number-two superbitch. Kim Tate is still reigning supreme as the show's number-one undisputed superbitch. Charity Dingle has completely mellowed despite often retaining her snarky persona, whereas Sadie King has yet to reappear after her original stint on the series.
