if the last one really is dodie, it may not be her just being plain rude. she has spoken out about her struggles with depersonalization and i know that experiencing that can come with not being able to communicate very well. she may have just been scared or nervous and didn’t know what to say. people who disassociate tend to shut people down, but not always in an intentionally mean way. i’m not saying this excuses her ignoring you, because honestly i hate being ignored, but if it was the case of her disassociating then it’s really not something that she could control. so much love to you💓 love you caito x
as soon as she described dodie as ''looking through her' and ''shutting her down''' i instantly knew it was dodie. i feel bad cause i sometimes do this to my friends and other people when i disociate. i don't think they're real or anything around me is and so i dont even bother with it. even if i do try to answer questions and communicate with people i do it in an unconvincing way as if im unsure of everything and i tend to talk slower than usual and look as if im confused (taken from what my friends say about me when i disociate) i truly feel for dodie in this although i agree it shouldnt excuse her from ignoring people. i hope people can actually understand what its like from dodies prespective. sorry if none of that made sense its 3am and im tired

Caito deserves to be as famous and as known as some of these disgusting people. That’s why I’m so scared to meet some of the super big youtubers because people can take fame to their head suuuuuper easily and it’s so so sad because these people are so admired and they act like they rule the world but in reality they are just regular people like their fans and without their fans they would be nothing. Search in RU-vid, "I am depressed today -by Dodie Clark- " and watch from 6:10 to around 6:31 I hope this helps, and gives you a plausible explanation. Edit: btw, she literally says, "If you catch me at an event and I am like this and I just kind of stare at you, I am so sorry and you have done nothing wrong, I am not angry at you. While she is mentally ill and she's absolutely allowed to have moments such as this, we can't really defend her cause she did hurt Caito's feelings and mental illness can explain but cannot excuse hurting someone's feelings. I hope she apologised to Catio later, privately and not in such a broad sense.
