Laughing at Noah. I went on vacation to Cleveland. They have the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the Pro Football Hall of Fame was less than an hour away. I live in Texas. The Cleveland weather was great in June, and they have lots of greenery. Unlike our dead grass in the 110 degree heat.

Bucks fan here, I've always thought, said and even argued on YT and elsewhere, as compared e.g. to Luka, D. Mitchell gets disproportionally and unfairly much less credit than he deserves as per the talent and general value as a player. The kid is a genuine baller! All he has to do is control his game, decisions and emotions and be more successful in the playoffs with the help of his teammates, because other than that he is not just a star. He can do everything on the basketball court as a superstar. The skillset is out of this world. And we have been unfair to him, he gets far less credit, I understand Luka, Giannis being from Europe they have fans, NBA is primarily a business, even I am from Greece ok, but basketballwise the credit those two get is unfairly much more than D. Mitchell disproportionally if we consider the relevant talent difference (if there is much of it). And I am not saying give less credit to Luka or Giannis cuz they deserve what they get, but give more and pay more attention to what this kid is doing if you love basketball

Defense is not going to worse. Defenses are just forced to not be reckless anymore. The best defenders in today's NBA, would be all first team defense in the 90's. Most '90s all defensive players, would be unplayable in modern day basketball, because they only have their physicality to rely on.

Honestly, I'm not surprised that the Rudy gobert trade isn't working out all that well. Donovan Mitchell was their offense when they were on the Jazz together. And Rudy was the defense. Unfortunately his defense is also very lackluster when there's a speedy guard near him. That's why they kept getting kicked out of the playoffs. And this just kind of shows that Donovan Mitchell is without a doubt one of the best scores that we have in the league right now and his potential is about to burst.

I think there is another reason why the offence is so great. I am from Europe and when I watch highlights of NBA I almost always get a bit angry by how many steps players can make without dribbling the ball and how much they carry the ball. I get it that there are different rules here in NBA but still, I think it's too much and that is a one big reason why offence is so good. Players can do so much without reffs calling it.

To me this just went to show how much the jazz built around Rudy more than we thought: no competition for the big man role so he gets the minutes and the freedom to play his defensive style, under appreciated gaurds in Conley, D Mitch(who to a step on D this year with a team more balanced for him) and Royce O’Neale not necessarily looking to stop who they are defending but aiming them at Rudy for shot blocks and hard contests. And lastly overpaying him so they can’t expand the front court and “get Rudy help” so he isn’t the only defender in the front court. Donavan clearly was and this year seems to be show it’s validity that he was dragging that team to success kicking and screaming trying to get them on his play style when they were already leaning on Rudy who isn’t built to have that power.

The day I knew Don was him was when they lost their first playoff series and Don did not wallow in defeat but started getting at himself and started getting at his teammates that next season will be better, dude went on the up his game and done every season since... Don is not a defensive liability, he is just an easier target on the court when you have better defenders or when he is the shorter guy like what Steph went through most of his career. people are just too stuck up on stats cause they can't process what they see out on court without it, stats are nice but they ain't shit without a the story to make them make sense... The issue with NBA media and fans is they are too stuck on player to judge players abilities properly... For me I judge based on position and height, but unlike other fans I don't discount shorter players cause of their height I judge them against other players their height makes my judgement of a player less bias and lets me see them for who they are... Steph for example since 2015 was a top 30 defensive player by height out of players ranged 6'0-6'4 but as soon as you went to 6'5+ he ranked in the lower parts of the top 100 which is high for a 6'3 guard these stats put in things like positioning, Forced passes and those stats you don't see on a stats sheets unless you search for them. Ants my point is defensive players shouldn't be judged on good they are at filling up a stat sheet for Blocks and rebounds but how good of a breaker they are like how Jrue is.
