Rudy's Bookcase. 

Just to prove there are other kind of people that watch these videos. I've been watching Rudy for about 3 to 4 years. I have never played Magic. I have never bought or sold a single magic, pokemon or any other kind of card. I was literally looking for investing content from people I have never watched before. I clicked on a white board video and realized pretty quick this channel wasn't necessarily investing based. However, I noticed his background in investing pretty quick, without him even saying so at that point. I may not care for magic, but Rudy speaks some absolute truths that can be applied to anything. I really hope there are people out there paying attention, pass the cardboard aspect.

Can someone make a Fireplace style video of the Bookcase? Maybe take the first moments of every video and splice them together. It would look like a stop motion evolution of Rudy's Bookcase over the years!

I am always amazed that Rudy can do these single-take, long-form videos extemporaneously.

I've played diablo 2 all of my life. From like 2010-2018 I played daily for like 6 hours. I started doing the text/pic equivalent of a let's play on d2jsp. Doing SSF p8 hc with jank hybrid characters. I still log in to look at them and just remember the countless thousands of hours of rune farming and killing cows I did.

And here I thought this video was going to be like those Yule Log videos, showing the changing bookcase over time.

I really enjoyed this video because I would miss a couple here and there and now there’s always 50 more lbs of stuff on the formerly organized bookcase and it was cool seeing what I missed and remembering when stuff was added, thanks for all the memories and entertainment. This is by far your best video in all that I have seen, shows your real maturity and outlook. Plus before you revealed those books thanks to your videos with them on the background I was able to hunt most of these barnes and nobles and came up with my own set of collections. There’s value in them especially the classics both externally and intrinsically. Thanks to your videos I was also reconnected to my childhood bookworm self, bought not only Barnes and Noble but Easton Press gold books. Rudy, if you remember the days of Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2, you won’t be disappointed with Baldur’s Gate 3. So much great story, great plot, great open world and the ability to play the way YOU want to. Do yourself a favour at some point and pick it up.

I love how Rudy really emphasizes the significance of the history of cards and the stories behind them, one of the best things about his videos is dude actually cares about the stories behind things, and the journeys that they have taken.

One of his favorite's being The Black Swan (where Black Swan Event comes from) makes sense. It teaches you that you can't predict 'unpredictable events'. (IE BSEs). That's just dangerous speculation.

I have been a fan and patron for several years now - I am a fan of the stories, the insights, the history, the advice, the craziness, and all the great Magic: The Gathering content. Rudy is a gem and we're all fortunate that he's made all this great content for us.

D2 is THE GAME to play back in the day. It still is fun. Love the runes and forging things like Enigma, Chains of honor, breath of the dying, etc... this game changed the game.
