With a name like Alois you gotta be a bad ass.🤷♂️💯. Thank you RUF for decades of amazing cars! It's hard to make a Porsche better but you definitely did it!
A great man!!! I was thinking, when i have money,i want to put my 02tundra SR5 on a cargoplane to Germany, have drop off at RUF,and have him turn it into a toyota tundra code name (T.Tundra RRT twinturbo). Lmao
Before these guys began to trick out Porsches and eventually changing pretty much everything about them and placing RUF badges on the cars, I take it they serviced, restored and repaired Porsches. But why where they so famous for it? Why didnt people send their Porsches... To Porsche? Was RUF simply better, cheaper or was it perhaps the restoration that was their key advantage. Or could it have been positioning that led to their success? Any type of answer is highly appreciated!
exactly right, ruf gets undesignated models from the porsche stable and customizes them until the have a ruf vin number , ruf is not owned by porsche and has nothing to do with porsche besides the technology that ruf designs and porsche has used in the past
