@@rneoman i guess it's lack of funds for this cuz I clearly see this road is clearly not high enough and due to the number of videos we see from this place, these poor men need some sort of solution for this problem
Being ex recovery driver...the silly question they ask when they driven through the floods.. You have to the beare of bad news... Basically your car trashed... R. I. P... In the car park sky 🤣🤣😂😂👍
Is it really knackered engine time ?. I am genuinely asking like, if you didn't do something stupid like well 1. (doing it in first place), and2. not trying to start the car after its died, is there any chance at all, and is iy different ie. petrol vs diesel of getting it going again ?? TIA
@@mattierenton701 I would say with petrol you stand better chance.. But more than likely have take the spark plugs out and crank it over to cough any water in the cylinders.. And dry it all out... Diesel nope once it hydro locks... Game over.. 🙂👍
They should have a team of horses to pull across the ford. I realize it’s fun, but unless you’re specially equipped you’re going to ruin your engine when you drive through there. Hydrolock is a very real thing.
Most hydro-locks here would have been easily avoided by going much slower. Biggest problem are all those bloody feelers and electronic parts and cable-connections crucial to keep these delicate modern emmission-panic engines thumping.
So, the reason my car insurance quote for two cars for one year has gone up £200 from last year, is basically these twats... I have had no claims for yet another year. I have also shopped around and my existing insurer's £200 increase is the best offer I can get. Thanks twats.
I don't believe insurance companies would pay out for such a thing. This is the nature of a car failure due to stupid decisions. Not a road accident or car crash.
i assume it's because they don't have even a basic knowledge of how an engine works. let alone where their air intake is or what happens when you put a liquid that won't compress in a cylinder at 2k rpm.
insurance aren't responsible for people driving their car into flooded water and hydrolocking it, the person will have to pay the repair costs themselves
99% of people driving thru this flood have no idea how an engine works it seems... or they do it on purpose so their car will be totaled by the insurance and end up on Copart/IAAI for nice money.
Don’t understand why people stand and film? I really do hope karma gets each and everyone of you, just because someone did something silly doesn’t mean you ridicule them
*For say a 2018 Ford Fiesta second hand Recon Engine from EBay around £2000 plus fitting [around 15 Hours Labour @ £65 / Hour = £975 + VAT = Total £3570 !* 🤣🤐🥵💦
Oh my word,I had no idea.... Why on earth would anyone want to take that sort of risk, especially as I have seen really expensive cars go through and " die"
if the water only wets the ignition or air filter, it would cost a bit of time for it to dry out. if the motor sucks in water while it's running it gets in the cylinders it doesn't compress which will likely cause bent rods or worse. at that stage you'd need a full engine rebuild or another motor if it can't be repaired. the cost of a rebuild or a motor will vary by car. but it's never cheap. some cars it could be 10k or even more.
Thank you for your replies, I am now even more amazed that some folk in expensive cars drive through it , maybe they are like me and didn't realise the damage it can cause or the cost of repairs..
@@thecarman3902 oh ha ha , 😃😎😃 scaleing new heights of humour here , a current topic no doubt, hope you stream successfully on next video, I am banking on it for sure ..oh ha ha ...🙄😣🙂
😂😂😂 Oh look there’s a young woman with a baby about to drive into a flood which we all know will most likely ruin her car. She’ll be stuck in the middle of the water and need rescuing. Her car will be unusable and probably cost a pretty penny to get back on the road. She might not be able to get to work, or the doctor, or nursery, or the shops for a while. We should warn her not to drive though. We know what will happen. Nah, let’s all keep quiet and stand around as if everything is fine and then we’ll be entertained when the inevitable happens. Sick. Really sick. Broken society. 🤯
After watching a dozend of these videos, I think the crowd are ar$3hol3s for not warning drivers but enjoying their expensively broken engines and walk of shame. Damn via RU-vid I'm one of them, making the RU-vidr not warn them, because he had no content then. What kind of broken society is this?
