You need to press in harder as well as do 2 strands of yarn to make it thicker. Also having the frame on a stand would make it way easier. Good luck tufting. 👼Salvation Creations👼
I literally CACKLED when your dog sat on the rug while you were working on it. My dog does that to me ALL the time, especially when I'm drawing and I need her to not come over and lick the graphite, haha! Thanks for always being such a fantastic soul and for sharing your crafting progress.
I just wana say I love your new style of editing! It's so fun and I feel like you're just more confident and yourself overall! Love the rug, it's so vibrant
bahh thank you for noticing! i love being able to express a little more of my true personality and not take my videos too seriously, i appreciate you 💖
Love this video! I saw a cool rug someone made and wanted to see the tufting process. I like being able to see a realistic expectation for a first time tufter. I've started crochet earlier this year. Now it's time to add tufting and needle felting to my hobbies!
Well that's really cool. Not like I need another hobby... or have time one however, that looks pretty cool and fun to do. Nice work. Have a blessed day y'all.
Stunning Erin 🎉❤ Such a vibe! Painters tip! Whenever I stretch a canvas and its not tight enough or it looses its tension, I spray the backside with water (using a spraybottle), then let it air dry - works every time! Not sure if this will work on the canvas after you started your tufting project, but worth a try🤗
10:26 is one of the major reasons I LOVE fiber art. I started crochet in July and saw progress in just my first few projects, let alone what I’ve completed since. Being able to physically see my improvement so well satisfies my ADHD and habit to get bored of hobbies that don’t show as much progress. It’s so rewarding to see
I love this girl u did so good I rlly wanna try this hobby a little before halfway at the video ur gun sounds like it needs a lil oil amd a clean I've heard if the gun sounds like it's screaming it's time to clean it haha 😂love this rug 💗
ugh I've been wanting to try tufting soooo badly but I don't have the room to do it!! you made it look so easy and your final piece is incredible 😍 love the colors!!!
Ahhh thank you!! I know it takes up a lot of space. Maybe you can tuft in a garage or something and move your car out, and it can rest against the wall to save space 💖
That rug looks amazing , And thank you for the 3 main tips about tufting , Can you just suggest to us , approx how many hours did it take for you to complete this rug , including gluing & trimming it ?
Love this! Those colors look SO FREAKIN GOOD!! Did the velcro work well? I’ve been playing with the idea of making a tufted wall art as a Christmas gift but I’m super nervous that it would be too heavy
I'm so glad you finally got the opportunity to try this out! I know you've been talking about it for so long. Your rug turned out amazingly😍 It looks absolutely fabulous! You had a vision I couldn't have imagined myself. Also looove seeing the progress you made, things you learnt along the way. Makes it so relatable and approachable.
Very interesting video! I've never made a rug this way, but have you ever tried rug crochet using strips of fabric? It's super fun and very easy and you can make various shapes. I learned about it when my youngest was a baby...about 23 years ago.
Just a quick tip: if you want that big ass batch of glue to last you then take a little bit of it out and close the rest as fast as possible otherwise it will start to dry down the more you use it
