This guy is an absolute beast! Would to be a quarter back or even a lineman lining up against this guy. Judging from his latest game I would say he definitely still has it!
Can't wait to see more of him in the coming weeks and I hope he stays healthy.
See you in the next reaction!

JJ actually began his college career as a Tight End before switching to Defensive End, which is why they line him up there on occasion.

Yes In the NFL. Most Defensive Players can play Offense. FYI 💯

JJ Watt was on Pace to become the most dominant Defensive player in NFL history. But unfortunately, he was infected by the injury bug and just couldn't never return to 100%. He's still a very good player and one of the best at his position today even with all the injuries stacked against him.

Gabriel Chaney he missed 2 years straight so it really hurts he chances but for a guy that’s only had 6 healthy years he already has 97 sacks so that’s definitely Hall Of Fame tier
@drobese5301

To be fair he was second in sacks last year behind only Aaron Donald. Plus he led the league in forced fumbles. He’s still a top 3 pass rusher when healthy.

The reason he's is getting through on a lot of the plays (from the game highlights vs broncos) is the Broncos are running screen passes a lot of the time. The offensive linemen only hold their blocks for a second when they release to be downfield blockers, while the qb makes a short pass to a speedy guy (right behind the line of scrimmage). Its a great way to try and take defensive ends like JJ out of the game. The fact that teams have to gameplan so hard just for JJ is an ode to his talent.

Watching him and his brother at Wisconsin you just knew they were going to make it in the nfl. You gotta see Reggie white on defense. In the 4th quarter in the super bowl with the packers he took over the game to seal the win for them. He did the swim and and club moves famous!

Could you take a look at Earl Campbell? He's a Houston legend and he played for the original Houston football team the Oilers before they moved to Tennessee and he was one of the hardest hitting running backs the NFL had ever seen. With current rules in the NFl there will probably never be a RB like him and is amazing to watch highlights of.
@kateg7298

Earl Campbell is one of the nicest men I've ever met. My husband treated his grandson medically. He was in a residential facility and Earl poured so much time and heart into giving all of the kids there attention and motivation. He never failed to give a kind word or an autograph. He's a legend on and off the field. Sorry - I edited the comment to take out any identifying information. It's not right to share details. His grandson was a good kid and I hope that he's doing well. It's been about 19 years ago now.

Texans have the best DE duo in Watts and Clowney. Also if you want to see highlights for a up and coming QB, check out Texans QB Deshaun Watson... The guy is a beast, dont know whats up with the Texans. They have so much talent on both sides, but cannot get far in the playoffs. Hopkins, the WR you kept hearing in the highlights, one of the best WR people dont really talk about in the NFL.

@wilcoxproductions7528

On the fumble that Ried picked up against the Broncos, the reason that JJ got to the QB so fast is that the Broncos ran a screen pass. That means that the O-Line let the D-Line through to block for the running back.

YES JJ! Injury prone NOW, see why? Houston was gifted with two of the greatest players: Earl Campbell and JJ. Although they played different positions, JJ and Earl is all Football, playing through horrible injuries which would finally take its toll. A couple years back, JJ played a season with a torn groin, hernia, and needing knee surgury.

Injury prone means frequently injured. He has been that. It's 100% accurate.
@spydergs07
@spydergs07 5 лет назад
@@dave-hc2vi He's not injured frequently though lol He dislocated a finger but kept playing twice and then had a leg injury that broke a bone but that was his only 2017 injury. He wasn't injured in 2018. He had one injury in 2016 and the doctors cleared him too fast from a back surgery and that same injury was sparked back up but that was the doctors fault for clearing him too fast. He had an injury in 2015 that kept him out for a but that was it. That is FAR from injury prone. His injuries are actually minimal for the NFL and someone who gets as much play time as he does.
@dave-hc2vi
@dave-hc2vi 5 лет назад
@@spydergs07 You missed quite a bit. Here's the actual list of his injuries August 2012 - Elbow dislocation. Missed preseason, but played regular season and playoffs Nov 2013 - Abdominal, groin and inner thigh muscle tears Dec 2015 - metacarpal fracture Jul 2016 - Herniated disc you mentioned, plus trying to come back too soon. IR Sep 2017- finger dislocation Oct 2017 - leg fracture. IR for last 11 games of season He's definitely tough and has played through some injuries, but whether or not you play through an injury is irrelevant to whether or not you are injury prone. I'd have to see actual data to believe your claim that his injuries are minimal compared to other players that get the same playing time. He's certainly not the only player who has had lots of injuries. Not sure why people argue it. It's not a criticism of him. Some guys just get hurt more. Could be something in their technique. Could be just bad luck. Could be pushing themselves too hard in training. Could be not pushing hard enough in training (not applicable to Watt, I know). Could be something genetic that leaves them more prone to certain injuries. Could be a combination of those factors and others.
