Lawrence's breakout season was a key part of the resurgence that saw the Giants earn their first winning record since 2016 and their first playoff win since the days of Eli Manning. Lawrence led the Giants in sacks (7.5) and had 70 pressures on 741 pass-rushing snaps, per PFF, earning him the second-highest grade among interior defenders (91.6). The Giants rewarded Lawrence with a four-year, $90 million deal to keep him around long term.

this dude is my favorite player in the league right now. as a giants fan he shows up every week, dominates, and at the same time is so much fun and is just a guy you can’t help root for

Played against this guy in Highschool. Even then he was a beast and it’s great to see he’s doing well for himself now.

Easily one of the funnest defensive players in the league to watch, and likely one of the futures best, if not the best for sure, defensive tackles. He is changing how the DTs have to be handled, due to the success he’s having at a position that shouldn’t be having this type of success historically. He is basically as quick as a defensive end (in some cases slightly even a bit more so), with all of the same rushing moves, but with the traditional run stuffer size and strength. Centers simply have a terrible time hiking the ball and then instantly having to deal with him. Too fast, one slightly wrong move by the center and it’s over.
