@ValhallaVagabond I'm sorry, but I've been unbelievably excited about this game, and I wansnt expecting miracles, but this is rugby, and the rucks don't work. The srcums and line outs are janky, there is 0 fluidity in attack, tackling is about as effective as driving without a steering wheel. I can let slip (barely) that no other teams have any realistic player models, but what I can't accept are that they don't even have names. How hard it it to type a players name. I mean, come on. I know I am being over critical I do but I was at least expecting a continuation if not maybe even an upgrade to previous rugby games and boy I was probably one of the people most exited for this game. And no denying it, a downgrade would be an understatement. Rugby nations on the play store for mobile is more in-depth. Edit: Also, credit where it's due, the graphics are reasonably impressive, and yes, like mentioned before, the jerseys are very nice.

@ValhallaVagabond I was looking forward to this game more than most games releasing this year just because of how much I love rugby and rugby games. I wasn't expecting miracles but we are talking about a rugby game and rucks are completely not functional, lineouts and scrums are terrible, tackling is about as effective as driving without a steering wheel, attacking has zero fluidity to it and the A.I is stupid. Those are just a few of the many many issues that make this game unplayable. I can excuse (barely) that none of the other teams have realistic player models, but what is just downright not acceptable is the fact that they haven't even bothered to add the players name. Players don't play in any of the correct positions. There are no moves to use in attack whatsoever except pass left or pass right, which is slow and completely riddled with glitches and bugs. If anyone has ever played rugby nations on the Google play store for mobile, that game is genuinely a better product, and it's a free mobil game. I am genuinely curious as to what was going through their heads when they were play testing the last week or two and what made them think this was the game we wanted. Credit where it's due. Like I mentioned, the jerseys look great, and the cut-scenes are reasonably good. Graphics as well are adequate.

@@nathannweyer4741 Yeah mate, look while I hear you ... totally do on all these points. We have to remember it isn't a finished game. It feels like maybe that is what you are comparing it to? If you keep playing it there is actually a lot to like in it imo. It will be easier to see when some of the glaring things you have mentioned are improved and included. Trust me mate, I want a quality rugby game just as much as you do. This is going to be that game, it is just going to take some more work. Have you put your feedback up in the forum?

Yeah mate the game looks nice in places. A lot of work still to do but there are some promising signs for sure.

You are spot on mate, there is a lot to be done and BA are well aware of it. I have no doubts that this game will make strides over the next few months. There is some good stuff in their exactly. Make sure you get your feedback in on the BA forums to let them know!

To be fair it should, Rugby 22 is a finished game. This one isn't there yet. Almost 300 teams will be in this game so lets hope so!

Tough question chief to be honest. If you don't mind a rough game and want to have input through feedback yeah for sure it is. But if you are looking for a finished product at purchase no. There is still some fixes required. I am having some fun with it already though.

Oof, I don't want to say it mate but I think you were a bit premature. It will never be this cheap again and it is going to get markedly better. Checkout the new trailer to give you an idea.
