yO bOI!! Hey I'm a calorie-counting Soylent/Huel/Vite Ramen freak myself! In my original sardine video I'm probably 195. About April 2019 started calorie counting and road cycling and lost 30lbs. Keeping it off during lockdown; trying to gain about 15 back in muscle but it's super hard. Great video as usual! I'm gonna skip fish for a week and put out one where I bag on Netflix for 15 minutes.
Thanks Matt! Yeah, soylent and huel are pretty rad when you're motivated. I was planning on doing a full month of just soylent followed by a full month of huel for a comparison video - but I don't think I have the mental fortitude for that kind of commitment haha. I think I'm just gonna go back to intermittent fasting. Great minds think alike - I have a "netflix sucks" cell on my video idea spreadsheet!
Y’all should watch the movie “Soylent Green” if you haven’t already. The drink brand “Soylent” is a spoof off the movie & you’ll notice they haven’t made any green Soylent drinks (except one time for a limited holiday edition they made a mint chocolate drink & it was a very light mint green color but not the REAL “Soylent Green” color. Anyways, enjoy your Soylent drinks! I’ll never drink one, I have that movie imbedded into my head.
@@runesmom1 they were actually selling a Soylent bar that was called “Soylent green” last summer, idk if its still available, but it was green and tasted kind of like caramel green apple
Didn’t know that I had even more in common with two of my favorite ‘dine dudes, I was actually one of the backers for the original Soylent crowdfunding campaign, I still have a couple bags of 1.0 that I’m basically keeping as collectibles at this point since its expired and the taste wasn’t anywhere near as palatable as their current flavors even when it was fresh.
I had this tin in my cabinet for about 6 months now. Felt intimidated by if for some reason lol saw this video. Opened it up. Damn this is some good fish. I got like two and a half fish in one tin too. Good stuff
I expected it to be good but I didn't expect it to be absolutely amazing. I couldn't stop eating. I will be buying as many more of these cans as I can find!

I bought a tin of this stuff from my local supermarket (the incredible Berkeley Bowl) and figured I’d check out a review or two before crackin’ her open. Expectations of the amusement value of the first review: exceeded.

First and foremost 3am,yikes I guess you get that feeling to make a video and its game on. After watching this video it makes me want to get moving. I am referring to the weight gain and the upcoming loss.So far watching these videos has not made me want try any yet. But I find the series very relaxing and informative. Keep creating the great content.
Watchung this as I sit here eating my first ever can of this...along with white rice. This was delicious!! I love vinegar and fish and this product fulfilled both of those for me. 😋 😋 . I did take out the spine though.
Older video flick but still nice enough that I went on A Man Zon and purchased 2 bigass tins of this Rugenfisch Fried Herring. Can't wait to try it out in my pie hole. I reckon I'm gonna' super wombat grind the whole 17.6 oz. tin with some hot sauces, et.al. unguents and salves. Because maybe. I'm crazy. That way.
idk if it was taken over by rugen but yes they are associated as i saw a vid on it ,i was suprised to see them say that polar product is german because its Norwegian
If you drain off the marinade into a pot and use it to cook some small potatoes with it, and at the end warm up the fish in the same pot, you get a full meal for a few people.
@thelonercoder5816 you would be surprised. All three healthy fats in the fish keep you fuller for longer too. I just ate a normal can of sardines and I'm pretty full!
I just tried the white wine sauce one. The fish is great but the sauce is nasty I was expecting more like a vinegar kinda consistency. Definitely going to try other flavors though.
I met one guy over a decade ago that couldn’t have gluten. Think it was at a wedding in 07. Then all of a sudden the whole world either couldn’t have it or didn’t want it either? Give me all the gluten you can I say.
Yoooo I seen this at the store and I was just so confused!!!! But my interest peaked because i wanted to see what that even looked like. I just tried my first can of sardines before i watched this video. It was in mustard sauce! First of many steps to trying something that always put me off because of the bones. I was kind of close to getting this big monster can cause ive never seen anything like that before! That is a ton of fish!! Being half german i am proud 😁
