Babareshi is the name of a village, forest area, tourist and religious place in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is named after the Sufi saint Baba Payam uddin Reshi.
It is located a few kilometres from Tangmarg and near the hill station Gulmarg.[
These Shrines were abodes of people to cure their internal illness . Baba Reshi belonged to a rich family and were minister during Zain Ul Abideen Badshah sultanant. historians write that Baba Payam ud din reshi {Ra} 's life changed when he saw an ant carryinmg some food and he thought that himself being a human is not worried about his life hereafter. Then he became Disciple of Baba Shukur ud din Reshi who himself were disciple of Nund Reshi {ra}.
