Been looking at Rujo boots for a while and these stood out to me. Definitely a must I have these. Worried about the sizing since I’m ordering online but I want to get Rujo boots for sure. Great video by the way.
Thank you sir. They do fit very true to size but if for any reason they don’t fit or you need a different size they offer free shipping and free return or exchange.
Great review of these Rujo caimans! That pop told me you had a great fit. I like the looks of them & the fact that they're a 1 piece vamp/foot. Consistent sizing is a great plus! Thank you Lionel. 👍
Rujo has done a fantastic job with those hornback caiman boots. I do prefer the look of these hornback caiman boots. Great interview with James and great review!
Damn nice boots. Never really even looked at anything else but Lucchese or Black Jack before. There website and price are spot on. Gonna grab a pair for fun. Thanks man!
@@cowboybootshatsandwesternl9663 I will need to check it out. Just saw the Chisos video too. Maybe I have been narrow minded by not looking at other boot makers. Those brown number 2’s and number 1’s look mighty nice. To me, the price is high for some people. I where boots more than shoes it seems and It’s worth it to me. Also, I am from San Antonio and quite embarrassed to find out that Chisos is in Austin.
These boots just got here today. They’re phenomenal boots. Do you think their pointed toe boots have the same amount of toe room? The Jake feel perfect width for me in 11.5 wide
I have a pair of their boots that’s been sitting in my cart for two days it’s classified as a group of boots called the “real deal” at rock bottom prices. My issue is there’s a no return or exchange policy for them. I normally wear a 12 EE but for instance, in Lucchesi, I wear a 14 double E I do not want to be out of $400 and contrary to of the comments here the customer service has not been very helpful
Thank you, Lionel, for another great review. That’s an impressive boot from Rujo. Question: do you know if Rujo uses a full leather heel counter or do they use some plastics as I understand Tecovas does?
It is my pleasure, from what I understand the heal is leather along with the counter support but I haven’t seen a Rujo taken apart but we all have seen the Tecovas taken apart but I will tell you this about the counter the one they used in the Prescott sand shark was not the softest but it was no where near as tough as this one and the spur shelf on the Prescott which is part of the heel was week as I said in my Prescott video so I definitely see another level of boots in the RuJo. Thank you for your support
I had a question. (In regards to another boot) wanted to see if I could get some help. I had an issue, I purchased the Arturo in midnight color vamp sized in 10.5d. My first pair of Dijo. Boot fit great, but I noticed on one of the boots there was an obvious rip/crack on the tongue of the boot, right above the instep. The rip/crack went thru some of the caiman belly vamp & as well as some of the stitching above the vamp as well. It’s not huge, but I know it will Definitely rip more with time. (I know it’s not just a natural imperfection of the vamp, because I own other caiman belly boots in other brands and have never noticed a rip/crack like this. So I can say for a fact it is damaged). & on the other boot there is obvious brown stains on the toe of the boot. They are midnight blackcolor; so the brownish stains are very noticeable on the toe. It seems as if the black dye is coming off or if they were rubbed up against something obviously brown… wanted to see what you suggest? I don’t want a refund, just a return for a better quality pair of boots. I don’t want to give up on them; wanna still give them a try.
Good evening I would say that you are not wrong for wanting to make sure that the boot you spend your hard earned money on is in great condition although somethings are caused by natural effects of the boots if something is truly wrong with it it must have been some thing that slid through in the factory as it can very easily occur I am sure that if you call Rujo they will make sure they will do right by you just show them the picture of what you got and I do not see why they wouldn’t get you a new pair that would be in perfect condition as your satisfaction is one of their main concerns they are really good about that so give them a holler send them over some picture and I’m sure they can get you all squared away. Thank you so much for your support and please keep us in the loop on how it went And if they take care of you posted on there Facebook page and on cowboy boots hats and western life enthusiast Facebook page to give them a big shout out.
I would say get the Jake but if your budget is for the rosco then i would suggest paying less then the rosco for a 1 piece vamp and go with the roman boots Aquiles. Bellow is a link to the review. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B-TAJU_6-8Y.htmlsi=2Ivdz9TH-WK6va6j
Yeah they do make caiman belly in a round toe but with the hornback being symmetrical square it just works better on a square toe. Glad you enjoyed the review and thanks for the support.
I understand folks have different taste I like how they look for certain occasion and they definitely feel comfortable so if I’m going to a BBQ or a sport bar I’ll wear those and if I want to tone it down I’ll wear my caiman belly 7 toe but I like them both for different occasions. Thanks for the support
Yes sir I usually like the shaft around 13 inches these are my only shorter shaft and I don’t mind them for casually going out but in the next couple of months I will be getting a pair of Hondo’s nubuck Bull Hide for review that will have a 14 inch shaft and I can’t wait.
