I can just imagine Jeremiah and you both had an outstanding trip. That would be like going on a trip through boot heaven!!! One day Fil I would absolutely love to try out a pair of your Hondo Boots. It is fantastic that you still use the traditional way of making boots.
Awesome! Thanks for watching. I'm glad you're enjoying the content. These Burke's would make for a great one/two punch next to those Yeehaw caiman tails!
Awesome video and WOW what a nice pair of boots! We were just at Taubert's on Tuesday, passing through on our road trip, three floors of cowboy stuff! Amazing!!
Thats the Burke which I have and absolutely unbelievable boot! One of my favorites. Impressive first impression my friend! Lucchese 7 toe and 4 heel on this boot. They look amazing on buddy. How did you hold off 😲🤣
@@lucaswhite3850 so did it until they cracked. Lucchese gave me my money back though. I have a short review on my page about it. I believe I may have been the reason they cracked though.
They are great looking boots and I bet they are nice to wear. A bit too exotic for my uses but I sure wouldn't complain if I had a pair of those boots. thanks for sharing!
I had some Malcolm’s. I think that’s what that is. Those scales are stiff at first but it only takes a couple hours of wearing to soften up and break in. I loved these boots but they started coming apart between the scales at the pinky toe. I sent them back for that reason. They also hurt the bottom of my feet if I was standing for a couple hours. I did a short review on my channel showing the holes in the skin. They were beautiful boots but didn’t look like the stick photo used in advertising. It did get me to start liking a different style boot though.
Why does Luchesse not do a leather liner to hide the seam for more comfort? Other companies, like Tecovas and Chisos, do and at a much cheaper price point.
that is a good looking boot.i like the 2-tone look. ( I think I recall you saying you were not a fan of 2-tone JC. ). one pair at this price , $ 720 , is better than two cheap pair .nice store. be safe ~. JDS/CT
I don't mind two tone like this. I'm just not a fan of mixing deeper browns with black. These boots are on the lower price range end for a gator boot for sure. Love it!
" Hi Jeremiah, good video ! i'm not fan style of boots on the video but i likes the form cowboy western ! i believe see on of films cowboy , i look always his films videos ! "
hey jeremiah. awesome video as always ofc. i have a small quest and i would like yor advise. a little while ago i bought a pair of dan posts Milwaukees 11A (Narrow) the same type you made a video with. and i am planning on buying the Lucchese Bootmaker Men's Crayton-tn Burn Md Goat Riding Boot, Tan Burnish, 11 D US (round toe) but since its a B width i dont know if its too big on the sides for me. could you help me out a little with it? like going half size down or not? thanks
Thanks for watching! If you're an 11A-B, an 11 D will be too big. I'm a 12B and usually I have to size down a full size to make boots work in a D width. This boot was an 11D and it fit very well. Sometimes I'll have to size down to a 10.5D depending on the brand and the toe shape. If you need more info, here's a video I did on width with a rare size boot 14.5 AAAA ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pNgTB-ACbNU.html and here's one I did with tips about how you can cheat and maybe find the right size in a wider width ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ESugSc6KROY.html
It's mostly the leather here. Since it was a wild gator someone had to go out in the swamp and hunt it. That takes time and experience which costs money. Then it needs a special tanning facility to tan it correctly to the specifications Lucchese requires and that needs be a serious facility which is an enormous investment. Then when the boots are being made the bootmakers need to cut out the leather so it will match from the right to left boot which also takes time and experience. Since these are made in Mexico, Lucchese is actually lowering the price because the cost of labor there is so much cheaper. If they were made in the US, they'd be twice as expensive. I made a video which tells more about why boots are more expensive if you wanted to see more: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-dQV0BEjZrG4.html
