Camping in the Yorkshire Dales I stayed a couple of nights at Rukin's Campsite, in Swaledale.
The location is within The Yorkshire Dales National Park, and is fantastic area for motorcycling, cycling and walking, with the well known 'Coast to Coast' walk running through Keld.
The campsite is a relatively large farm site with several camping fields, good facilities and is located within the village of Keld, which has a pub and a small visitor center.

Thanks for suggesting this site. Had a fantastic weekend on my first motorcycle camping trip also on my CB500X. Was incredibly busy as it was a heatwave. Did a couple of walks to muker and tan hill and even swam in the river. Amazing sky at night as it was clear sky's. The only issue was very noisy neighbour's one night who didn't care about anybody else on site. But you'll can have this anywhere.😡

Glad you had a good time, nice location but unfortunately there’s idiots everywhere! I’ve a new review for a similar type of site, but in Snowdonia, including river, that’s publishing on Friday 5pm … watch out for it as it’s also very good 👍🏻

Great area for biking, always enjoy the ride and views you can get following the same road between Reeth and Nateby (B6270) which this campsite is just off from.

Mike that campsite looks like the one Gareth and Zoe filmed at out of season with permission. It looks so remarkably similar if it's not. I'm glad you are enjoying the bike camping, I've not tried it yet but want to. My bike is in for MoT and chain and sprocket on 20th June. We'll have to meet up in the future. Safe riding atb Taff 🤠👊

Hello good Sir, it was not until I recognised the shower blocks that I realised I had been here myself, thus I think it might be useful to edit the words "Reeth" comma "Swaledale" into the title. That Zhufon radio mic certainly avails you a more ranging presentation style and it works well, the mic seems a little 'hot' though, maybe you can modulate it down by - 10 dB at the input?, or place it slightly further away from your mouth on your lapel. Although close to the camera, your closing shot audio had a little interference, what might that have been from do you think? Kind regards.

Nice place isn’t it, thanks for feedback on film titles, I try to keep them relatively short but expand that out in the description, always a bit of a balance but will give it some thought 👍🏻 Yes, I’m having some issues but the remote microphone I’m using is a Synco for the Panasonic camera I’m using. Mostly stopped using iPhone for filming! Really appreciate your advice, have been at a loss but will follow the advice and see how I get on….cheers, Andrew

……I’ve noticed that there’s a bit of interference when near to camera but no idea why, could just be the 2 part remote microphone and receiver being close together?

@@thecampingbiker791 Oh I see, I have only recently rewatched your Zhukon mic review and didn't know you had swapped to something else. How did the Zhukon finish up, did it cease working? Kind regards.

@@onanysundrymule3144 no the ZHUFON still used on the odd occasion I use the iPhone but transferred most filming to the Panasonic using new microphone!
