We're excited to announce that our Throttle Time program will become part of the Indiana Rail Experience this year! Available for guests 18 years of age with a valid motor vehicle license, Throttle Time will give participants the chance to operate historic locomotives like Nickel Plate Road no. 765 over the railroad! American steamers are a very different breed from European locomotives including British engines, They were built to haul ass coast to coast over the entire country

@@CrossOfBayonne most of them didn't run coast to coast, most covered much shorter distances and were overweight and inefficient for the work they did - the best steam locomotives were French and German.
