@@becks33 Slightly bigger than normal sized meal. Don’t overthink it, just ensure you have plenty of carbs with your meal! In the day- dependant on the start time, I would have a bowl of porridge!
Many recommend to take a gel right before race starts. If you have already taken breakfast like 3 hr ago, any benefits to still take a gel before start? Should it be caffeinated or.not? Tqvm
@@livegreatalways Gels are good to take around 20 mins before a race and every 30 mins during! Caffeine is up to you, I personally don’t (I take carb only) as my stomach sometimes is a little funny on them but if you are good with them then they are really good!
