Rehearsals are so important! I start the rehearsal by having the Bride place everyone in their spots for where they will be for the ceremony. Parents and children seated. We then block out the ceremony. Practice the recessional. Then we practice the processional followed by the recessional again.
Thanks for your fantastic knowledge, I'm going to study here in Australia in the new year and I'm so exited to start. I will b watching more of your fantastic videos, thanks again 😀
@@unboringwedding Sure, is there any standard position for the groom and when entering the aisle which side should he be at,having in mind he is getting in with the bestman, left or right?
You my friend are a “God Send” There are lots of videos covering this subject but nobody does it with as much fun and sincerity as you do. Thank you Mark🤗
Nossir - and thanks so much for asking!! No one is more qualified on the planet to run the wedding rehearsal than the officiant or celebrant of THAT ceremony. Do not outsource rehearsing to someone who won't be up there leading the charge... and left holding the bag if something goes awry. When you lead the rehearsal, you inspire confidence and cover details in a way that can never happen if you leave it to the planner. Thanks for the great question!
Do you do what you talked about before or after the dinner? I’m assuming before the dinner because people will be less responsive after eating and drinking.
Awesome advice for the rehearsal... very practical! Similar to what you said, we're planning a talk through, walk through, run through concept for our rehearsal dinner. We can't rehearse at our venue the day before, so my thought is to try to make things as similar as possible in other ways. E.g.- playing the songs we'll walk in to during the ceremony so everyone understands what it will sound like. Hopefully that'll help reduce anxiety and keep things on track. Again, great video, and thanks for the help!
Doing my first wedding in 7 days. Watched most of the videos already but I'm binge watching them again. New information with every watch. Thanks Mark! I definitely feel confident going into rehearsal and the wedding. Thanks again!!
