RUN, LITTLE RAT! (CalArts Film 2023) 

was so relieved when sir Mouse helped our little Rat; it would hurt me greatly to see _everyone_ acting mean towards him. so glad he got his good ending he deserved wonderful style, great animation!

this was 3 minutes and 36 seconds of pure delight!!!! i love the movements n character designs, so charming ... so glad he found his rat friends

I know its CalArts, and everyone's going to be talking your ear off about the look (and I like it, its cutsey and stylized), but where you're head and shoulders above pretty much everyone else is story and sadly that's one of the areas CalArt shorts seem to usually neglect. But you didn't--. So honestly, well done. It's simple but really strong where it counts.

AHHH i love film season. this is absolutely delightful, your art style combined with the sound and environments of this short make it feel much like an older version of a picture book! the color palettes, the music, the characters... it all feels very sweet and this is an absolutely delightful short film. i'm definitely excited to see where you take your artwork from here!

I’ve watched this 3 times in a row! I love the character designs, the music, and the little rat protagonist. So glad he got a happy ending. I also loved the little angry duck sequence. Fantastic work!

My pet rat died today, and I came back to this video because it reminded me of him. I'm in the process of making a memorial animation for him. His brothers and me are going to miss him. I've also always wanted to go to calarts so this video is very neat for a bunch of different reasons
