Come along as we camp in our tiny Runaway Rangerunner Mini Camper at an Ohio State Park. In this video, we give you a tour of Punderson State Park. This campground sits on Punderson Lake in Newbury, Ohio. We meet up with friends for a pot luck where Ben makes a Smoked BBQ Honey Glazed Ham. Yum! Great video !! I'm currently trying to decide which Runaway I want so watching videos. I'm in NE Minnesota but I'm an OTR truck driver and have hauled loads of Kraftmade kitchen cabinets out of Middlefield. It's always fun to see the Amish buggies

We will actually be doing a video on the modifications in the near future. This is actually our third setup of the inside within a one year period. We had a king size bed first, a queen second and finally 2 twin beds. The twin beds are my favorite. ❤️

@@RunawayAndSeemor3 My husband and i have Runaway Rouser that we are currently building out. We used your exact bed configuration for our setup i got the idea from another one of your videos. Our beds are made from cedar 2x4 because they are lighter than standard 2x4 and they smell great.😊 I made cedar side tables for each bed and attached them to the frame of the bed so they sit up off the floor they are big enough for little bed side lamps we got from IKEA in PA, and a cellphone or other item.

I have a Runaway Coolcamp. Sometimes when I camp in a site like that I turn my camper sideways on the site and place it all the way at the end. That helps me with a flat area under my awning. I’m pretty clumsy so I need all the help I can get! Great video, keep em’ coming! Love Videos about Runaway trailers.

I am interested in seeing the build and/or plans of the L shaped bed(s). What mattresses did you use? Love this set up! Beautiful camper!

Julie, Thanks for compliment. We plan on doing a video of the build in the near future. This was our third build in less than one year in this camper. This is by far our favorite and most comfortable. It is what we are keeping. I will show the bed frames and give dimensions in the video. As for the bed we used a 1”coconut coir pad on the bottom so the mattresses could breath then we stacked three 2” latex mattress toppers (1 soft, 1 medium, 1 firm)on top of each other for a total of 7”. That way you can find what is comfortable for you. I will show this in a video too. Hope this helps. I hope to answer all your questions. Keep watching. 🌸

What is the weight of camper.. can it be towed with a car/medium size suv?

The weight of the unit when you buy it is 757lbs. That is with nothing in it. Just an empty box with an air conditioner. With our latest build, it is 1,380lbs. If you check out our video on our build, you will see the layout that we now have. Of course different builds will weigh different amounts depending on what you put in camper. Yes, it can be towed by a car/medium suv. That is what is so great about these campers. Happy camping!

Did you ever have to manually move runaway and if so how did you do it

Tina, yes we have. Depending on our site layout. We have turned it sideways or to face another direction. We put the wheel on the trailer jack and push it into place. Once in place, we installed the chock blocks, swap out the wheel for the flat plate and lower the trailer jack onto the blocking and level it from there.

We normally stay at State Campgrounds and use their bathroom facilities. I normally do a tour of the restrooms in all of our videos of the different campgrounds. For when we are off grid, we have a shower tent and a propane hot water heater. We also use a Luggable Lou in case of emergencies.
