Hi Kevin. I enjoy watching all of your good ideas for camping. My set up is an old Sedona minivan with the rear seats out. This gives me inside room. I then have a tail veil which gives me an additional room on back when needed. I am working on an awning. I only need to buy a small tarp with grommets for a top. I don't have a roof rack so I will tie two sides to the hatch hinge and handle on the ceiling by the front door. I then have two lantern holders for the other corners. With the wind out here we shall see if this is acceptable.
Well done Kev, You have done a great job on the camper I hope you enjoy it. One sugestion for when you build the bigger chuck box out of checker plate maybe put a brace down on each side to the frame of the trailor for extra support, you could olt them on so the whole thing can be removed id nessacary .
Nice job , here is an idea for when you build your new chuck box . Make the stove level with your counter top and on drawer slides it can pull out to the right of your camper . This your stove won't take up any space for your prep area . Be sure to leave enough room for propane bottle and bracket on the left side . You may want to consider a small canopy off the back for shade and rain protection if you search chuck box or patrol box lots of videos on you tube good luck
