@@lifeiaskedfor exactly. Generally speaking people who bot for GP gain either want everything required to also be bottable, or to have minimal real actions required for them to get set up. Fishing minnows is very easily bottable from a fresh level 3 account with practically 0 input needed other than to move locations (some bots will even do that part for you)
4:11 happened to me, lost 4 of my highest level accounts and got told by Jagex themselves they can't do anything about it and if I want to continue playing then to create a new account... Thousands of hours gone and years of my life
yup lost my main account I've had for 15+ years with 800m bank and 2032 total. Tried getting a hold of jagex but all of my appeals get ignored. Wish I never tried switching to jagex launcher
To the guy losing access to his authenticator: same happened to me, the app I used is no longer supported. I took a while but i managed to turn off the 2fa even without having access to it. As you’re still able to log in; why don’t you turn off the 2fa and immediately use a new app?
Devastated for the guy locked out of his account. I factory reset my mac, made the mistake of locking my notes on icloud. When i tried to unlock them after reset, it said they couldnt be decrypted, for some weird reason with keychain. Even though i had the password. Kills being locked out of years worth of notes. But if it'd been my rs account. I'd probably just abandon society and become a hermit up a mountain somewhere. Praying for you my boy 🙏

Had the same thing with the backup codes issue. I generated a bunch of new codes, as I only had 1 left and when it auto logged me out the codes generated didnt work. Jagex response was "tough titties, should've wrote them down right." Furious. Since it was a jagex account lost both my main and my iron. Rebuilding atm but it was tough to get the motivation at first.
My skill pure got caught in the bot nuke as well despite not being a bot and having never macro'd or botted on it and there is no way to get in touch with a real human for it. Im still trying to and its 3 years of work gone.
Your really fucked if you lose access. There's so many fake reports out there that jagex has stopped listening. I had to say goodbye to an old account after months of no response from jagex.
Losing my RuneScape account because of an authenticator issue has me shook. Is there any way to prevent this? He said he even had backup codes and they didn't work so what is the workaround to make sure this never happens to me?
@@Nbj6 is the authenticator tied to the SIM card/phone number? I got a new phone a couple years ago but my authenticator is still on my old phone. but I changed the SIM card to my new phone. Should I be worried?
Sucks can't get it back I left after EoC and found out it came back around 2018 when I got on my account no longer existed I started at the age of 12 I'm 33 now and had to start all over
I’ve had the same issue in the past with recovering an account with an auth and not having the phone. I got mine back so it is most definitely possible

same thing happened to me with goole auth and a new phone. made me quit the ame entirely.. probably for the best but its laughable how stupid it is that they cant turn off auth considering i had all the info about the account includinf runelite screenshots that date back years
my only issue with vtubers tbh is the fact that alot of the osrs ones have female models for the most obvious dude voice ever and its just so off putting atleast the dog makes as a good meme and honestly sorta fits his voice
Sus is items only going up after they had j mod issues in the past with dms. Yet dms still go on. Not pointing fingers but imagine we vote on no ingame purchases then bots increase with items going up and 30x in price. Its 1/15 id guess to real players
The fact that jagex’s has to manually bann all the bots is a fucking joke……… theyve turned off bot detect and its all m,anual now like wat the actual fuck….jagex going through sum shit……
