I have been playing this game for 12 years now. My first ever goal was to get 99 mining when I first started this game. I was about 6 years old. After I would say 3 weeks of mining copper and tin ore in lumbridge swamp I reached about 50 mining. I was too young to know all the different ways to train my stats up. I've played off and on for a long time, and I started playing again about 2 years ago. Slowly I was training everything up. Then I stumbled apon your channel and holy crap I started getting so much better at everything, I went from 82 combat which took about 1 year to get to now 116 combat in such a short amount of time . And as of this very day about an hour ago I just achieved yet another one of my biggest goals. Getting the fire Cape. My first ever fire Cape because of your guides.. I would like to say thank you so much for helping me achieve these goals, your guides are amazing, and your commentary is amazing. Thank you again for helping everyone out with reaching their childhood goals that they never thought was possible ❤

It's a bit much trying to find all of the healers watch him and my prayer and health. But when I killed him I smacked my keyboard and spammed a bunch of letters as hard and fast as a solo osrs player getting a elysian sigil😂😂😂😂😂😂 for real thank you so much😂❤

Thank you so much, after my third attempt i finally managed to get my first fire cape. A quick tip for anyone having problems with the healers, if you are using ranged or magic make sure to keep them away from jad as MUCH as possible they have some sort of aoe healing and i didn't know it, they kept healing even after attacking them, i learned this the hard way.
I was 4 1/2 yrs old, when I started. I started the leveling. it was nice. It leveled up to 40 herblore. I turned 5. then I find your channel. my oh my! holy god oh god. now I make my combat stats 138. now I kill Jad, then solo Solak. Ty protox. ty for my doubled blightbound drops, with hsr. couldnt have done it w/o u
Finally got my first cape, thank you for this guide! Took me 3 tries, first time I put on the wrong prayer lol. But tip from my second (failed) attempt: healers can still heal Jad if you are standing too close to him, so make sure you lead the healers away from him before finishing him off!
Back when pits just came out (2006 if I recall) I spent about half a year of non stop fight caves to get my fire cape. Millions on potions and gear repairs (guthan, crystal bows, kharil) but, after dying from the 100th disconnect/lag spike, I finally had a succesful run! Biggest achievement! Lost the cape on a disconnect whilr farming black dragons.. Quit rs the week after. Saddest day of my life to that point, all the hard work gone due to a disconnect. Very strange to see it is now possible to get the cape with only one playstyle, worse that it goes so quickly! Just came back and will definitely get my well-deserved revenge Jad! Was always scared to fight Jad back in 2007, and never really got to it after I took a long break from the game. As a returning player, I got my 1st fire cape thanks to your guide.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you Protoxx! I used your guide and managed to get my fire cape on my first attemt with a time of 01:35:38. I was down to my last restore and 200 prayer points, and didn't focus the healers fast enough, so Jad went back up to 40k hit points, but i luckily scraped by. Working out the safe spot was probably the hardest part, and getting the higher level monsters to stack, so you could turn off prayer was a pain in the later waves. Good luck to anyone else watching :-)
Tired this same set up minus the vamp aura and scrim FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER- didn’t know what to expect so resources weren’t managed very well, I did make it to the last stages before messing up my prayer and getting one shot- great video
Your videos are the best guides on youtube, i came back from a 6 year break and im so much better now than what i was and its all because of your channel :) got my first 99 in fishing last week and now im doing slayer (wile leveling combat) and going for the fight cave, so much has changed in 6 years i thought i would never be able to get the hang of things again but i have and again its because of your channel :) keep doing what your doing bro you deserve 1000s more views :)

Thank you for this guide. I died on the first fight against Jad because the healers distracted me when Jad was half hp. But I killed him during the second fight. Now I just need to kill him again so I can keep one fire cape for myself and then get another fire cape to unlock that other area.
bro ty, i lost my firecape that i got like 15 years ago, back in the day a buddy got itfor me, i was able to beat fight caves with your guide, jad always melted me, but as soon as i got th prayer switch down, i melted him lol didnt panic, agrgros the healers, and just focused on him and what he was doing
2019 and this guide is still helpful. I used the ranged lower cost setup and beat it on my first try. My combat stats are pretty high, so I didn't have too much to worry about. Very helpful, thanks for the vid.
Got it on my 3rd try today with 75 attack, strength and defence with ovls at 105 combat. Thanks again for another guide :) 99 herb, 99 prayer and now Jad thanks to your guides. Subbed.
the brews will remove any stats buffs you get from the Grand potions, so dont even bother bringing them. Getting to Jad is super easy but when those adds spawn i get distracted and usually die, so the only time i do Jad is for a slayer task, at least if i fail i didnt waste time as i was still leveling magic and slayer. oh well xD

I just got my first Fire Cape, on my very first attempt, thanks! My stats are, 72 Def, 77 Ranged, 75 Prayer, 75 Const. I had Karil's armor, with an Amulet of fury, Ava's Accumulator (for the Ranged bonus), Royal Spiky Vambraces, Berserker ring, Sign of Life (Very important!), and a Crystal Bow. My bag had 10 Saradomin Flasks, 10 Super Restores, and 8 Sharks (waste of space, just bring more Saradomins!). I made extensive use of the safe spot #2, paired with Surge to evade enemies and arrange them properly. I ran out of saradomins by wave 60, so I had to use the safespots and Rest, to regain my health. During Jad, I messed up one of the reflects, I was looking for the shockwave special effect, instead of Jad's movements, so when he stomped but no effect showed up, I died. Luckily I had my Sign of Life which brought me back to life, and survived long enough to DPS it down. It took me 1 hour 20 minutes, and I used a log-out just before Jad to make sure I was ready for it.
After so many years of playing today following your guide I attempted fight cave! I succeeded 🎉 i just wanted to say that i was killing it so fast that when the healers came through i decided to keep attacking JAD instead of the healers and it worked! I must say im lvl 138 with overload ! But i guess the reason i comment this is because there is a chance to mess up when trying to get healers to attack you instead of healing JAD! Maybe i was lucky. But thank you so much!
If anyone else is kind of intimidated by the requirements/suggestions in this guide, remember that people did this the first month it was released w/ the Crystal Bow and black D-hide armor, in RS2.
Tomorrow, I will be making a Fire Cape attempt. I'm a 16 year vet, been playing on and off throughout these years, and have attempted Jad many times. I am now lvl 134, and am going to try again tomorrow using your tips. In full anima core, mech chins, RoD, augmented off-hand glaive, Blood Amulet, and ss/anguish, vampirism, and super war master pots and rocktails, I might just finally get the damm Cape so I can go for the kiln. Wish me luck, I'll need it to switch curses at the right time. That seems to be where I mess up the most...
I did it!!! After so long, I finally have it! I did it on the second run! I panicked on the first run, and misswitched prayers and died. So, on wave 61 second run, my computer lagged, and my toon and all the mobs were all standing still. I'm at the southwestern corner, spamming my eat food hotkey, praying that I don't run out of prayer. No worries though, by the time my computer cought up with the game, everything was dead except for 1 jkot who was safe spotted. I did spam-eat all of my rocktails, but still had potions. When jad came out, I kept calm, kept on top of prayers while pulling the healers. Once I pulled their aggro, jad died quickly. I never dropped below 9000hp. Now, I gotta do it again for another fire cape to put in the treasure trail hidey hole lol!! I think i got it now. Thanks so so so much, your video was a big help!
Ive been playing since 2007. I quit in 09' came back and got my 1st 99 in 2013 then quit again. Now im back and ima try it a 3rd time. My 1st try was at level 70 something with an inventory full of lobsters and couple of prayer and str pots loool. My 2nd was a bit more serious but ultimately failed. My 3rd try (seasoned) with definitely be my best.
I'm a terrible at bossing and PvM in general but your guide really makes it seem so easy to do the fight cave. I'll try it and see how far I go before I get obliterated.
I swear I'm so dumb! 😂😂😂 Watched this guide and I forgot what you said to do with the healers. So I got them to aggro me (because I remembered at least that much) and then didn't know what to do from there. So my potato of a brain thought I should try to dps down all of the healers with area spells because who wants adds, right? 😂 Forgot to look at Jad, took 5k to the dome 💀 Here goes round 2 💪🏼
Am I just really bad? I went in with elder rune +5 2 hand and drygore ls/divine sprit shield along with malevolent armour. My combat lvl is 123 with 99 att, 88 str and 91 def and I still ran out of food and had to leave by round 45. Prayer is 75...tfff
did it first time in 28 minutes, didn't need food until Jad and he almost ko'd me as I wasn't prayer flicking, by the time I panic ate back to full he was already dead, my gear is pretty decent and I'm maxed so that helps, aiming to get the magic zuk cape by the end of the week
I just got to wave 32 and realized I had taken restore potions, not super restore potions, which give no prayer so i had to leave LOL pain in my ass man, pain in my ass...
Hey Prot! Love your channel man. Please never leave us! I had a question tho. I have full anima core, bloodfury, and obliteration. With 92 mage and 99 def. But im dying to zammy like crazy. Any tips? ( I can survive like 10 kills ish)
Alexander Soo Hon I have a zammy guide if you have not checked it out yet,I suggest you never pray at Zammy and use debilitate halfway in the kill (even without prayers), as no prayers on will make it so that the special attack doesn't get triggerd (which you can counter by using debilitate at the right time if you like)
I am 1 year away from my 15 year cape and I still have never had a fire cape I suck at prayer switching then again I have gotten close with no luck, that and now that I’m about to attempt my first fire cape using action bar I find the commentary on this video because I’m going to attempt with nox scyth, mastercraft armor and overloads... and I’m still nervous lol
Hey can somebody tell me how i need to set my ability bar up i havd 83 range, the only ability i was able to get from this guide was the the corruption shot so with that is mind how should i set my revolution bar up, im going to attempt jad tonight for the first time
spent like 45 minutes abusing the safe spot because I was super low on food, had 1 shark left, get to Jad on full HP, I DPS him down to half, I aggro the healers, and I misclicked and forgot to prayer flick the ranged attack, it did 6300, and the fight was lost then and there. So frustrating spending 1hr 30m+ just to lose as the end :/
Got until wave 62 and about to finish off Jad then my mom shout my name got distract and too late for prayer flick... Huhuhu Anyway thanks for the guide protoxx really helpful
I am so over this, I just panic the fuck out when fighting jad when the healers come I don't know where to look anymore so while switching prayers there is one thing I forget... to not restore my prayer.
I could cry. Got him almost dead on my 1st attempt with 70combat stats, got distracted for literally 2 seconds and missed 2 ranged attacks that I didn't prayer swap and it killed me from full health. Went from destroying him using no food to dead so fast. Ugh
On a positive note, your guide helped a ton. Utilizing the safe spot to avoid getting attacked by everything at once was a game changer. Literally the easiest challenge of my life if I didn't look away from my screen.
Came back to report I destroyed him this morning. Took me 2 attempts overall thanks to knowing the strats from your guide. 74 magic, everything else 70.
Make sure u learn well jads 2 mechanics before u face him. I kept forgetting what one was coming and it fkd me lol. KOs u quick if u mess up even once.
I've attempted this with melee three times and got killed by the mages at around or before level 50 lmao. Gonna get subjugation now and try again with magic.
I bought all teir 90 armors, grand defends and magic potions, and I bring sharks, and Im dying over and over again... on top of that i have scrimshaw of vampyrism and penance aura... Why tf Cant I even get to the boss? Tectonic mask, blood amulet of fury, tectonic robe top,tectonic robe bottom,hailfire boots, celestial handwraps, ring of death, noxious staff, guthix cape, Large Rune Pouch, penance aura, scrimshaw of magic. 87 constitution, 90 defense, 92 magic, 76 prayer, no curses... only level 37 magic protect unlocked, 40 ranged unlocked.
Got to jad for the second time ever lastnight almost killed him then the healers appeared i started panicking and died and got mad because i didnt watch the video all the way to see he had healers🤦now i have to do it again

@@ProtoxxGaming thanks! I planned on trying again tomorrow. I brought too many prayer pots and switched from penance to vamp halfway thru and realized i just need to stick w that next time. Plus, i haven't planned in a few years and the eoc/pvm is still sorta new to me. Your vids have helped A LOT tho man.
There is no video and I mean no video of a low level person actually doing the fight pit. All I ever hear is people telling me to do things and never showing,”Lure them to this safe spot” doesn’t show how to lure. Ended up not being able to fight one at a time because of spawn locations and I got ganked hardcore. Ugh I’m never going to get my fire cape:(
