Runescape Top 10 Lures - Week 12 

Watching this is 2021.. I was 14 when this video came out. Would watch every single upload.. Sometimes it's nice to go back and watch again, simple times..

Oh the good old times.

The way number 7 works is like this (I got lured by that method when I was a dumb kid): A guy starts saying drop party and he has a friend following him saying that he has a party hat or something very expensive and that it's the real deal. After that they make competitions like who has the most money, so people have to take their banks out and trade the guy to prove to him that he indeed emptied his or her bank and if you have the most money, you get a point. Then they tell you to go to a german world and the first one to trade the lurer gets another point. Then the lurer says that he's going to tele other the whole group to another destination (he doesn't mention where) and of course a warning message pops up, but you can't understand it because its written in german and that's it you are in level 54 wild with all your shit. Cheers.

The one on the foreign language world is a really clever one. They make friends with someone who speaks english. Ends up asking to see bank and then say lets go to falador and use teleother but since its foreign language people dont know that its not fally but the one in the wildy.

No. 7 was an old lure using ancient teles. Hence the foreign world so he wouldn't understand the wildy teleport message.

For people who don't know: The #7 lure is usually made my advertising for a drop party. The host casts a group-teleport spell from the lunar book to teleport everybody into the wildy, where they get killed.

Funniest thing is - I bet 90% of people in this video quit a long time ago. Nothing lasts forever

Number 7 happend to me, i don't know if it was a glitch or something because why would jagex put this in, but you get tricked into accepting a group tele to the ice plateau which is like 48 wildy and you cant do shit cuz you are in bank standing gear...

the 55 wild lure is telle group ice platue, its a really old lure from before people really knew about the lunar spellbook and all its toys. was probably put there to take people to the agility arena or something but ended up being used for lures and still is daily

to explain number 7- the guy wasn't convinced to walk out into the wild. they likely played a game similar to simon says in order to win items, the last two steps include being the first to switch to german world and subsequently being the first to accept teleother to high level mult-target wild. funny stuff.

The 50+ wild was a lure where they teleported them to a place that sounded weird because it was ancient magics. They told them there was a drop party or naked girls or somethin.

That last one... Could of swarn my heart stopped for a split moment.

The Way the number 7 lure works is you convince somebody you're going to teleport them someplace friendly, like- camelot. It's a foreign world so they have no idea that you're actually teleporting them there.

for the level 50 wilderness thing it was a drop party lure, players convinced them to teleport and they all ended up in ice plateau with expensive equipment

The lure at the ice plateau works by them being on a different language world and inviting a friend too, saying they are going to vid or something so bring ur expensive stuff. Then they say, we are gonna go vid somwhere else, take this tele-group to catherby with us, but because it is in a different language they really do teleport ice plateau and get the guy in the wild.

For number 7 was that the one where someone would tele-other to ice plateau?

For #7 it was the tele other ice plateau lure. A lot of people didn't know that ice plateau was way in the wildy so they took the teleport not knowing they were getting lured.

Luring makes the game a little bit more enjoyable. Again, as we all said many many times before, "If you are dumb enough to get lured, then you deserve to lose your shit." I mean seriously, props to someone who can actually convince someone to bring bank in wildy with no food...

Chris, the point of clw lure is to bring them into dangerous thinking the 6 men team will kill the low level with an high risk, but then the low level bring out the max gear and kill the high risk. U can also have some1 waiting outside portal and he come in and kill the guys. Thumps up so people can see.

Number 4 was a glitch for only the first couple hours if the lending system

they don't notice that there are skulls on the diagram for the teleport spell and they get teled to the Ice Plateau where the teleporting dude's friends are waiting to pounce on the victim.

For people wondering about lure number 7 (that includes you chris) basically, there r different ways, the main way is to say theres a drop party, then you show a valuable item, den say first to tele wins it, so u tele them to wildy theyr excited so click accept without even reading where theyr going, then boom, 52 wildy cant tele no food no pots and people that follow the lurer are usually wearing something =]

Lure number 7 was done by tele-othering him. They probably tele-othered him when he was spam clicking something so he didn't even have time to read the window it just teleported him.

#7 was in german world, rs doesn't have dutch worlds or do they have them by now? haven't played for a long time lol..

In number 7 they say "First one to accept the tele gets free stuff". So you tele as fast as you can and then get lured there haha!

I actually did that chinchompa lure. Not knowing it was a lure risking full dharoks... and got away ;D Only had 1 heart attack.

explanation of #7 usually, they have a rich guy walking about g.e saying "drop party" or something like that, so people follow with what they have on them, usually cash or whatever, then the lurer says "first to my house gets arcane" etc, then somebody will group tele to ice plateu in 55 wild, and if you have accept aid on you will get the pop up on screen, and after your panicing trying to get to his house, you panic and click the tele thinking your going to his house. clever trick lol

Lure number 7: they convince you somehow to accept to be teleported to a certain place and if you get there first you will get something. They teleport you to the wild then

@pvtmill3rr its not fake, he probably said drop party, at my house, let me tele you, while the tele he used was an ancients tele, that tele'd you to the ice plateu, and the guy just clicked accept without paying attention and got killed by people waiting out there for him. Pretty common lure.

you used to be able to take borrowed items into the wilderness and give them back but that was a while back when you could first lend.

i believe the lent lure can only happen if he lent him the phat while already in the wildy since you cant take borrowed items into the wildy

2:37 might be death plateu lure, im not explaining it cuz idk if its still good

2:30 ice plateau lure, its a teleport you get them to do

Chris for #7 it is in the german server so they told him he'd be teleported somewhere safe when in all reality they teleported him to level 50 wildy with ancient magicks

#7 is a lure where they tell you who ever gets to a certain place first gets a specific item and then they tele other everyone somewhere, then after the third one everyone is about to click the accept button as soon as possible then they get tele other'd into lvl 50 wildy then y'know the rest.

@duncandonutsert thats the point of the lure back then when free trade started ancient stat saved over ely and divine he died with prot item off so the ely guy looted it then the tber and mager ran in and when he died the ancient would of saved over the ely but he got smited anyways.

Lure 7 was probably "offering tele-other fally" or something, because it's a world in another language he could then use the tele-other ice plateau and the lured would be none the wiser.
