Rarran, RegisKillbin, Zeddy, trump, thijs and other hearthstone youtubers all play different hs gamemodes. Duels, Battlegrounds, Standard, Arena and Wild are in the game that can new cards from new expansions to climb and win HS games.
Hearthstone is a card game based on WOW, it is also a digital card game.
Legends of Runeterra is a 2020 digital collectible card game developed and published by Riot Games. Inspired by the physical collectible card game Magic: The Gathering, the developers sought to create a game within the same genre that significantly lowered the barrier to entry.

I really love watching this seires, and I love both versions, where a hearthstone player has to guess how good runeterra cards are (because I can also guess and play along), and where a runeterra player has to guess how good hearthstone cards are (to see how people who don't know the game as well will look at some of the cards).

My immediate thought was "oh that must be really good if you can buff it and give it taunt". Defender of Argus alone makes it a 7/4 Taunt with that effect. Seems pretty good tbh.

To be honest, Scabbs Cutterbutter is fantastic in Wild for enabling of certain combos, and can effectively go infinite. I see streamers like Danehearth abuse him quite a lot in some of their more favorite decks.

@@Rarran i would also argue scabbs was as a pretty good card in questline rogue, atleast from my own experience. the card comboed with foxy fraud gave some pretty big tempo plays also considering a lot of the SI:7 cards were 2-3 mana, and i know im not the only one, as it also saw play in some of the questlline rogues in the Masters tour: Ruins of alterac Edit: Also mozaki has been one of the highest winrate cards in tournaments. I would argue its lower winrate is due to high apm requirements and skill ceiling

The worst part of Dwarven District is that Raza Priest is proof of concept for it, so they knew what would happen. They took a deck that was already good and then made it easier to execute.

for every one of those we have a Glide, where folks are sure it'll be entirely degen but ended up being basically unplayable card prediction is hard and you can't fully predict where a meta will end up, even with pro players doing playtesting

I totally agree with you on The hunter questline. When I first saw someone kill me with this I couldn’t believe they put raza and anduin into one card in one of the classes with the most cheap burn ever printed. It’s so unfun to lose to and basically uninteractable

I left Hearthstone but I still remember Moonfang. It was the only card that I made contributions to in the Hearthstone wiki, and if you look through the (really old) history of it you might see me talking about giving it Taunt and, as an opponent, being wary of it getting Taunt. Yeah that never panned out, did it?

The hunter questline, it's essentially the Priest Highlander deck in one card, it's both Raza and shadowreaper anduin in one effect. I still get on hs to play that deck on wild. That card is so insane that I wanna try it out now.

Bolner Hammerbeak WILL be a meta deffining card before this year ends, remember that. I play a off meta Freeze Shaman and Bolner is absolute beast in that deck. You can use him with Naga Teacher to generate tons of spells, you can use him with Mutanus to basically eat your enemies whole hand. You can use him with Snowfall Guardian to create a 30/30 Bolnar that's unkillable by most decks. If they release some premium Battlecry minions in the next two sets, Bolner will be a very annoying minion. Good video btw, I LOVE these guessing vids. Would be cool if you included some more absolutely garabge minions too, you seem to be picking only good ones.

"Can a Runeterra player guess how good a Hearthstone legendary cards are?" - I mean, not even Hearthstone players can do that ("guessing" after having seen them in play doesn't count). See: every single pre-expansion prediction session.

Lol. Runeterra players can't guess Runeterra cards either. We just had a new expansion drop Wednesday and the amount of things people were wrong about is amazing. (I am a walking stack of bad predictions, though, so no judging here. Lol)

8:05 it's literally the least polarized deck. You could still win against bad match-ups and loose against good. It had a win rate of 40-60% against other meta decks at the time.

What makes it feel polarizing is how it’s essentially up to how a Quest Hunter draws that determines who wins, similar to Switcheroo Priest pre-nerf

I think it would be really valuable to have a grading system. The system would be somewhat vague, with maybe 4 buckets (unplayable, niche/tech, okay, broken, etc). I think this would help viewers and contestants better understand where each card stands. I do really like how to tell a story about each card, so please keep that in. Good stuff.

Scabbs cutterbutter is not a trash card, it was decent in quest rogue and tempo rogue which briefly existed after stormwind miniset, and yes scabbs is useful in those decks because they run a lot of 3~4 mana card

Worth noting is Moonfang is arguably one of the best pulls off Guardian Animals. Unfortunately Animals got nerfed prior to Darkmoon, but the point stands is Moonfang is really good when you get it pulled from deck and has rush to get a guaranteed value trade.

About the hunter quest, what in the world do you mean polarization? Quest hunter only had a couple auto win matchups and mostly had evenish to slightly favored matchups. Now its matchups are just generally below average, but there’s very little the deck just can’t win against I find it kinda frustrating how people will let their dislike for the deck guide their opinions on how good/problematic it is It’s pretty obvious the deck is VERY overnerfed when you look at the stats (the deck went from ~53.5% wr in legend to ~43% winrate in legend), very clearly the dragonbane shot nerf was unwarranted. It also screws over the wild version of the deck

Sheldras would also be way better in Runeterra because you have so many ways of buffering card draw on board (last breath, draw a card, etc), so you can potentially spend all of your mana to drop it for 8 mana and then instantly get the 3 draws without spending additional mana. Plus creature ramp allows you to have only big game-winning spells in the deck, which makes it a near instant win condition.

You should focus a little more on wild in these videos. Scabbs and Bolner both had their places in absolutely *disgusting* decks in wild. Pillager rogue, and shudderwock shaman, respectively.

Pillager rogue is still a little on the memey side, just like a lot of Dane's silly rogue combo decks, but Bolner Shaman is tier 1 and Bolner plays a huge role in the deck's strength.

After they rate each pther's games what they should do is play versus in their own games and use the knowledge they gathered from all this videos to make a deck. There could even be a twist to it, like having the person with the most experience on the game having a handicap like only being able to play cards that are not in the meta.

I have never seen Inara see play. It isn't a good card at all. 5 mana deal 4 is a really bad card. I play wild only however so maybe that affected my opinion of her. On the other hand scabs was an okay card used in a few rogue combo decks.

Bro this is lame. “I think this card could be good if…” “actually ur very ambiguous answer is pretty spot on”. Bro cut the fluff, make it a game, and put in some stakes and you’ll get more views. Give 3 options: OP, standard, dogwater. Go through 10-15 cards, if they get x amount of guesses right, they win or do x.
