Another amazing vlog! Has anyone ever told you that you’re doing great things connecting elite athletes to us mere mortals?! Can’t wait for the interviews on the run club channel 👍
Your Runner's Weekend videos are my favorite - hands down. They are really entertaining. These videos also help me stay motivated during marathon training blocks and the daily grind. Thank you for making these videos.
Looks like it was a great time Mike. Glad you were able to enjoy Boulder and see some of its beauty. Looking forward to the next vid. Have a great weekend!
Looks like you guys had an amazing weekend!! The forest fires in Canada kinda messed up my running schedule for a couple of days (NY/NJ area), but I am back on schedule and glad to note that I actually might have improved because of it!
Me too, I ran once with a mask and then couldn’t handle it for two days. Even inside was bad air quality! I we took a few more easy days to let the kings recover and now we’re back at it. Hope you were/are safe!
It's funny nowadays to see runners getting way off course when there is so much great tech available to keep you on path. I would think between all these people one person would have a watch capable of downloading the route. Or at least using the phone to see where the trail is. But it is always fun to explore and find new adventures with great friends.
Wow. Great to see you were in my hood, Mike! Love running up Boulder Creek path. I run there every Saturday morning with my daughter and our three dogs. Come back again soon!
Wow it looked like a blast! I really enjoy Betasso. Being originally from the Chicago burbs, I’d say it’s relatively more runnable for me than the steeper stuff 😬 Can confirm that the casual talks of joining gnarly races is a thing. Thanks for sharing!
I’m 60, I have the EPIX2, but 51mm Epix pro is for anyone that needs a larger font to be able to see. You guys are youngens, so anything below 51 mm is fine with you. The 965, which I don’t have, I believe has a larger font. I also have the AW Ultra, the EPIX Pro makes me feel like pro.
A Serious Runner cameo was a classic Laura Green is one of the funnier Content Creators My SQYD SZN( Sydney ) tshirt is a favorite of mine The Asics jacket was sweet Another great Runners Weekend production
Hey buddy - loving the content as always, thanks so much and keep up the great work. I will be for Chicago Marathon this year, super excited and I would like to vlog some footage during the race - have you never had any problems in the past doing this? Just due to the official rules saying it’s prohibited, so that left me a little worried, nobody is actually gonna ask me to step off the course for discreetly whipping out my insta360 for a few seconds here and there? Lol
Great production! Runners have a great connection. You brought this out so well!! Made me want to be there!! Thanks for sharing this special experience!
Great video, Mike. What a great experience to be able to interact with the athletes. I met Makenna last year at the Bellin Run in Green Bay, she was very friendly. I agree with you that sponsors should do more to get athletes to interact and mingle with fans of the sport. I'm happy you're able to share this with us. Thank you!
Yo, what’s going on!!! All I need to know is How many takes did it take you and Stephen to not laugh it off? If it was just ONE you’re totally a natural for this 🙈😆😆😆. What a week 👍🏼
Can we have a Runner's Weekend every weekend? Love these videos and nice to see you meet up with Sage and Serious. Is there going to be a video on that conversation?
Finally got around to finishing this after hoarding it for home and the TM. So the trouble you had sleeping, @kofuzi? Imagine that at 8000 ft, which is why we're planning to move from where we live now, with regrets about so many things we love. Probably headed for SD but Boulder is the other temptation though it only solves the elevation issue by 1/3…albeit a crucial 1/3. There are always tradeoffs, but when you never adjust enough to sleep great, that’s kind of a no-brainer. Thanks for another great Runners Weekend vlog.
Great Video again Kofuzi-Boomshanka! I love Vivo barefoots and Ive ran in them for 10 yrs now and they allow me to run with my Mortons Neuroma without having had surgery, but was wondering if there are any minimal Asics options? Im getting very tempted to start running in Asics Boston tiger/ 66 New Mexico.
I’m not sure there are ASICS minimalist running shoes. Perhaps the Hyperspeed or something like the DS Trainer are the closest (not sure if they even still make that one)
Another great video for Runner's Weekend. I've only run and hiked around the Denver area and I need to check out Boulder when I get a chance. Thanks for producing this content Cousin Ko!
I’m pescatarian at this point. Been this way for almost 8 years. My vertigo was incredibly bad until I restarted running and also changed diet at the same time. I don’t know which one did the trick, so I stick with both.
@@kofuzi I get vertigo as well and just recently began enjoying running. I am 30. Wife and I plan to do our first 1/2 marathon in September. Hopefully we get in good enough shape to finish within time cap lol. Started watching your videos based on shoes and started watching more because I enjoy them. I should go pescatarian that is a diet I would enjoy! Also, been running in On cloud cloud flyer and didn’t know about shoes and shoes with plates until recently. My right ankle and calf sometimes hurts but hoping it strengthens. Ordered a pair of Hoka Mach 5 that I am going to start using for daily training and Saucony endorphin pro for race day shoes. Hopefully going to the Mach 5 since they are not plated will help strengthen it more. Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work!
What an amazing few days! Glad you enjoyed Boulder! That 3-mile loop near Harper Lake is where I do my threshold work. Too bad you could interview Morgan after his workout. He is hilarious!
That looked like an awesome weekend. More inspiration for me to keep running and making good connections. And love the tagline for this experience: "Good running, good views and good people". I might need to steal that. 😀
@@kofuzi The poor guy seemed to have suffered a severe reaction after a Covid-vaccine. I am sure that some of his dreams and aspirations must have been shattered by that. Heart-breaking to see that.
Another great running weekend! Question, how does one fly in to Boulder Colorado and just start running at altitude? Did you need a few days to acclimate beforehand or were you good to go? Thanks.
yes. sign up to join the free Kofuzi Run Club strava group. We do shakeouts at a lot of the big city races. Next one will be in Atlanta for Peachtree Road Race, then perhaps a couple of European locations over the summer (TBD), and then Chicago, New York, and CIM.
