😆 Good morning ☀️ perfect way to start my day! Thanks for the great laughs in the first minute! You make it look so easy, great video. I’m a dog 🐶 lover myself and pugs are my heart ❤️Stay safe a healthy! See you next Sunday 🙏😁
Hahaha what kind of dog is Winston, Pug? Never seen a video where someone actually runs the wires and shows the junction boxes in a van build. Very informative, thank you!
Thanks for watching, Winston is a Boston Terrier X Pug... Yes I had a hard time finding how 110v was split in a van as well. That's why I focused on sharing that part.. Glad you enjoyed!
New to channel and this is a great video and great idea. Im an electrician by trade and in a van build think this is a great way to go. I might do some small minor changes just as I know some less common DYI parts but common in electrical. Like on holes use a plastic bushing. Or use a hole saw thats sized for electrical bushings. But thats me. Nothing done here makes me shake my head. Really like the idea of no panel.
Great video, you do a great job explaining everything you're doing. I do have a question, I am just starting to run wire / loom. In the upper horizontal rib where you drill a hole (minute 5:59) I did the same but on the top inner side of that rib I have ovalish slots and am having the dickens of a time getting my loom through that. Did you drill the upper inner rib into a bigger hole somehow?
Yes, stay tuned as this design has been improved since the making of this particular video. I do briefly mention it in our most recent video. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I'm sure I'm missing something, but I don't understand what function the junction boxes serve. Seems like all that is happening is a wire is being joined back to itself. Is it for anchoring purposes? Why not just one long wire for each outlet on the inverter?
Hey Doug, junction boxes are where we turn one wire into two wires, giving use more receptacles in the van. That is why I made three holes in each junction box.. Hope this helps... Thanks for watching
Hello Jeff I’m James and I’m a cat and dog person my cat keeps the mice out and my dog keeps the assholes out. First let me say I love your videos and energy but the way you did your electrical system is wrong and unsafe everything must be done by code and I have done a lot of solar and electrical installations and I would recommend using a 12 volt 3000 watt pure sine wave inverter charger and a high voltage MPPT solar charge controller so you can run all your solar panels in series and buy doing that you will make more power from less sun like on cloudy days and you should have a breaker panel installed. Please keep up the good work and stay safe
C Breeze hey thanks for watching and commenting. Yes I did start with links to help my viewers but Amazon made a new rule and decided my channel was too small to promote links, supposedly I need 500 subscribers first. Thanks again for watching.
@@DaresDrives After I posted, I saw your video where you explained the dilemma. Duh- sorry about that! It seems so straight forward-- you direct traffic to their site and they thank you for doing so by reimbursing you-- regardless of the size of your channel. So... sorry for the comment. Still loving your videos-- entertaining and helpful!
