September marked the beginning of me training for a half marathon and I thought, what better motivation for running than buying books? So I made a little challenge for myself and said I had to run a mile for every dollar I could spend on books.

Yes, pls continue!! I haven't run for 6m due to a knee injury, so I love vicarious running through others! You sounds like you're doing an amazing job. And February is boiling hot in Florida??!! Oh no!!

It's not always hot in February, I think we just got unlucky on that weekend! Usually it bounces back and forth all winter but not to the point where it's that humid and hot lol Sorry about your knee! I know what that's like, I injured mine and didn't realize I needed surgery for two years so I definitely stayed away from a lot of things during that time and for a while after the surgery as well

This is such a cool idea. I am also really into running, and doing a 10K in November! This whole time I was like TRACK YOUR RUNS IN KMS haha, it will be more money! ^^

The funny thing is, I actually cut a clip at the beginning of me debating between miles and kilometers 😂 I ended up deciding Miles because I figure it will get to be a lot more as I keep training haha (and since I'm not counting books I get from publishers, I'm still getting plenty added to my tbr lol) Good luck on your 5k!

I use Runna mostly which is the app for the screenshots I included. They create running plans which is pretty cool (but it's a subscription). I also use Strava but mostly because I have more historical data in that

I do! We do a 5k every week which was how I started running regularly to begin with. I started only doing the 5k weekly, and gradually began running more. So happy I joined
