Eric from TechnoRV Shows you how to run a WiFi or Cell Booster antenna cable through your RV slide while using the TechnoRV Suction Cup Antenna Mount. Temporary and quick, this allows you to skip the part where you drill holes in your RV to mount an external antenna.

Thanks for the demo. Any chance you guys could also put out something that shows what you've done on the inside?

Hey Eric, we want to run our starlink cable through the slide as a solution for having the window open. Do you think the gaskets cause any damage to the cables in your opinion?

I was going to mount a roof antenna but it would be a pain as I would have to remove it when traveling. I was searching for a video about running wires through the bath vent when I came across this video. What a great solution! I ordered the suction cup mount and am looking forward to this very easy solution. Prior to ordering, I inspected the slide seals and found them to be very pliable and will have no issues whatsoever with a Cat5e cable. Thanks again for an easier solution to what I was going to do.

That can’t be good for the gasket long term. Why not do it properly and install a roof mount? More work up front but saves a lot of goofing around and inevitable gasket damage every time you move.

Definitely useful - going full-time in a week and trying to decide how I want to run cable. Likely will do it your way.

Can you leave the cable in when you close the slide? I am running cat 5 for the internet at a location I will be for a couple of months but like to close the slide when we leave the camper for a couple of days at a time.

Will putting the slide back in after you run the cable through it pinch the cable at all? I want to do this with a Cat5 cable.

This is really helpful! The media cabinet in our new 5th wheel is in the slideout and I don't want to drill into the roof and figure out how to get it to the slideout. I'm gonna give this a shot!

Gonna do that! I just purchased a satellite for my RV & was wondering where I could simply run the rg6 cable into the camper & straight to the satellite receiver. Gonna try it tomorrow if I get a chance. Thank u for posting! Happy camping 🏕!

Eric, thanks for your demo. What is the length and diameter of your PVC pipe, and how does the configuration you show at

Is running the cable through the slide a suitable permanent install option for those of us unwilling to drill a new hole?
