I remember when I first saw this vid. I thought it was freaking impossible to learn. But I kept trying day after day, week after week. And now... I can shuffle and my friends want to learn to but they do not have the patience like I did. To all who are trying to learn shuffle. It might seem impossible to learn. That's what I thought. but it's not. I know it's easy for me to say. but just keep trying! Good luck all shufflers!
Legend taught me how to shuffle more than a decade ago. I can still hear your shoes when I think of your tutorials lmao. Now I'm sharing it with friends.
Gabriel Sartori wow look at that - this video just went over 4 million recently :) thanx for watching hehe ...i've been out there shuffling for about 12 years now... wow... what an epic side quest!
wow its so cool to come back to this video 2 years later and see that i've reached his level....at some point, you cant surpass someone. everyone has their own style. their own version. its frustrating at first but do NOT give up and practice practice practice. before you know it, it'll be second nature. THANK YOU SO MUCH @BIGMILAN! Shuffling has changed my life, easy.
Lol this videos is why I am able to shuffle today. 5 years later, I must admit I am very good. I've even taught people to shuffle and to think I once was watching a shuffling tutorial vid =D
im learning, i picked the basic steps up within an hour, and now its developing into a run and tbh, just think of something to help you remember the steps and its good doing it to an upbeat song, it looks and feels amazing! im gonna learn the hardcore shuffle too, altogether i think its great!
Like most of the dances today, shuffling is just a collection of various dance moves (that's why it's called like that, it shuffles different moves together), running man is one of those moves.
I remember me training to this video day in and day out.. Today I'm just as good as Milan. Big respect to you milan who made it possible that I'm shuffling today!
Thank you so much for posting this video of THE RUNNING MAN dance, I have wondered what it was called and how to do it for a long time...now I just need lots of practice and I will be the envy of many on the dance floor.
I like your video the most becuase other people put music to it so you never hear what their feet are actually doing. When there isnt any music you can actually hear the two hops. Thanks! Now i feel like i can actually get somewhere. ^_^
believe it or not when i was a little kid i taught myself this one without ever having seen it before then i grew up and totally forgot it. one day i saw one of the ravers at my HS dancing like that, and i was like; HEY that's my dance! i thought that up years ago! well... i didn't actually say that but i did yell it in my head real loud hmm... i'm going in the back and practice it right now! thx
just keep workin at it. i've been trying about 4 days a week for like 10-20 minutes for about 3 weeks now and i've been able to speed it up quite a bit. it really does just take time.
Thanks for the introduction. Mastering and practicing this dance is very good for my health and really keeps me in shape. Not to mention I have a blast while doing it!
Learned from your videos! I have to say I have gotten a lot better :) It just takes practice. Start slowly and build it! I ain't a pro at shuffling, but I do know the basics pretty well because of your videos such as the (running man and t-step shuffle and switching) I'm going to keep practing to get better :D
Man I started watching then jumped up out of my chair and had it in about 5 mins! Great vid! I recommend if you're sitting in your chair right now, do the foot work while sitting then incorporate the hop. Also, it's easier if you alternate your weight a little to the foot on the ground :)
Just tried it now, best thing to do is to not look at your feet to see if your doing it right because it puts you off balance. Keep your upper body in the same place. You'll be able to feel if you're doing it right!
For over a decade I thought we were supposed to slide it backward. HOPPING it baclward makes sense! At least three positives are: save energy and soles, and most importantly - less resistance, making the backward glide more fast & seamless.
This didn't really take me that long to learn and do, but when I do it it's sloppy. So I'll work on making it neater. But so far I guess I could say that I'm doing pretty good! Thanks for the video it really helped!
Man, thanks so much, i could understand how to do this, you show how to do it very clearly on the movie, I started 2 hours ago, and so I'm just a noob yet, but man, you're great :)
Maybe this is lame for those who are practised but those who need the practise is this video the best one (my opinion). At first i tried some of those basic steps - only few min. and i couldn't get fats enough. Then after a few weeks without practise (few days ago) i tried it again and i did the basic running man in fast movement after round 30sec. like it should looks like in the end. For me are those movements easy to learn. n1 Video Milan!
Hey mate I already knew these movies before I met you in real life in Melbourne in some kind of hardstyle club! Nice man. Keep up the good work. Greetings from Amsterdam!
Seriously thx man :) i've been shuffling for like a week now, and my T step works fine still abit slow. but my running man, i can do it like VERY slow, and when i try set the speed up im failing. But im gonna work hard on it :) Thx man :)!
@filthyrugrat the running man is the only original part of shuffling they keep. i like how they put there own style and swagger in it, but the original stuff is what made the shuffle and we cant slip away from that. i saw a california person melbourne shuffling (not malaysia shuffling like cali likes 2 do) and he used the pindrop in it and it looked tight
I was planning on learning to shuffle, but became satisfied with only learning The Running Man! *goes to listen to some early 90's rap song and does the running man*
lol when i was younger i used to do this because it was fun lol i thought i had discovered something cool...turns out its an actual move leading up the the badass-ness of shuffling!!!!!! xDDD im so learning how to do this. :D nice vid!
woah I noticed immediately from you what I do wrong in the running man. A couple weeks ago I discovered that it was two hops (hah whoops) and tonight I realized that the reason why it looks like im doing it horribly wrong is because your legs are always straight (except for the slight hop) and mine weren't
@SGfromMS It's all on the foot work, once you get all the foot work mastered, you can speed up and it will look as if you are gliding/ sliding/ drifting. (Which ever term it is used)
@Hey13251 Doesn't really matter on what kind of shoes as long as your not wearing cleats or something built for traction. Most tennis shoes are good, vans and converses work, and pumas work too. I guess if you want major sliding with little resistance, you'll want things with vans+converses like bottoms. Its more of the surface you shuffle on rather then the shoes you shuffle in.
Alright I think I got it now :) I gotta practice though lol. Now I know, two hops omfg I was only doing one and dragging my back foot the entire way, it looked super bodgy. Now it should be cool thx bro :)
