Cassie is a sweetheart, and of course like any parent has such a soft spot for kids. So seeing Rocky working so hard, the kids chasing him, and the chorus of the music in childrens' voices really hits all our heartstrings❤

I love how she started raising her hands in unison with rocky when he reached the top.

I'm just glad that when Rocky spun around and delivered that flurry of punches at 0:35, he had a healthy lead on the fastest kid.

The steady cam was invented a bit before Rocky 1 was shot. The inventor filmed his wife running up the 'Rocky Steps'. Rocky was in preproduction, and the director saw the test footage, and his two questions were: "How do I get one of those", and 'Where was that shot". Rocky was one of the first films to use a steady cam.

This and the first one are my favourite reaction of yours for how off guard you were. I don't think you were expecting the movies to be this good.

the end still frame always gets me, remember that rocky was broke till he made rocky 1, that end celebration signifies his real life success.

I cry every time I hear this part of the song. My Mom was a breast cancer survivor and when she crossed the stage as a survivor at a race for the cure event, she did the sign of the cross to this part of the song and I couldn't hold back the tears. She fought that battle and won!

Watching this VERY scene grabs hold of my emotions everytime I see it. It's THAT powerful. But watching a YOUNG person's reaction to this is newto me. Not to mention fascinating and overwhelming. There's as much magic in this young lady's emotional eyes, as there is in the entire film. And I never thought I would actually feel it. This is surreal to the 9th power! Life never ceases to amaze me....

I was in college and working as a projectionist when Rocky hit the screen. We got a print several weeks early because we were giving press screenings. On the day it came in, I screened it for the staff and everybody went nuts. Those great workout sessions and the kids running with him, perfection. I told the manager that Rocky would win for best picture in 1976 and we bet on it. I won.

i dont watch reaction channels but i scrolled past the video of you watching the first rocky and thought to myself i have to see what she thinks. I love this franchise and was excited to show my wife because i knew she would think it was only about sports but it really has nothing to do with boxing. Im looking forward to seeing what you think about the rest :)

I remember the first time that I saw this in the theatre. We were all on our feet too. As close to a perfect movie, as one can be.

PLEASE do the rest of the series. I know you have a hard time with the boxing scenes, but the plots, characters and emotions get BETTER in the rest of the Rocky movies and Creed movies.

This movie and my dad's cousin got me to where I am today. Taught me to never give up in anything. I haven't till this day. I LOVE this.

My mom loved Rocky. During the boxing scenes if you happen to sit next to her she would hit your leg/thigh over and over screaming at the screen, get him get him get him! I miss her❤️❤️❤️

Went to the steps and statue a few months ago and omg the chills I had just knowing that is where one of my favorite sets of movies took place. Soooooo many ppl running the steps and just enjoying it. It was amazing. Went to Times Square the next day and it couldn’t come close to how cool the steps were

It’s fun to sit on those steps and watch how many tourists sprint up the stairs and jump up and down when they reach the top.

The power of this scene and Bill Conti's iconic music still resonates today, almost half a century later. I've walked the Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day (walk 60 miles in 3 days, fundraising proceeds for breast cancer research) something like 15 times, and there is one part of the course where walkers do indeed have to go up a bunch of steps. I've stood at the bottom of those steps and cranked up the boom box with the Rocky theme music. I've seen people who looked exhausted and were barely dragging themselves another step suddenly come to life and positively sprint up the steps once they hear this music! That's a powerful legacy!
