If you're not worried about budget, Sakashima is a great addition. I usually use him to copy Krothuss, then swing both, targeting each other and making 6 copies of Krothuss.

Yea, if I were to redo this I would do the same. That or more ways to cheat expensive creatures onto the field.

I like those effects too but with only 1 type being picked I figure that would be limiting. We have 4 expensive types to worry about

Deep Sea Kraken is 10 mana. That is a lot. How are you playing that in turn 3?

You can suspend it for 3 mana. It'll pop up as soon as its 9 time counters are gone.

You can suspend it for 3 mana exiling it with 9 suspend counters on it. Each upkeep remove a counter and this card also removes one each spell an opponent plays. Once there are no more counters it comes into play normally. It's basically Layaway for spells

I use this deck but I have a few other changes. I included the thousand faces copy creature so that legendary rule doesn't apply and then when attacking with two of them, I had them copy each other which allowed me to have 6 krothuss and then on my next turn, attacked again while spawning kraken was on the feild. Was glorious to do and fun.

Oh man that sounds amazing! Was debating Mirror Box and Helm of Hosts together. With it I was thinking all the duplications and bonuses that Runic would have.

@@delsdecktech7744 Mirror box is a good addition to have with the thousand faces as then you have two non token creatures that are legendary and share the same name. You'd be buffing Runo a lot and could kill with commander damage.

@@blueduck5695 yea, that's the plan. Though usually you'll win with massive damage with the powerful Sea Creatures you'll be duplicating. However, having some commander damage would be a nice back up.

@@delsdecktech7744 Yeah, swarming with massive krakens is the go to but being able to copy krothuss makes losing the origional much less of a worry. And if you have even 6 on the field, you can easily swarm with those massive 6/6+ krakens with their etb effects or being unblockable

Krothuss is a beast, spawning kraken for just one turn mid game is a game ender if no one has interaction. It’s gross lol 😂 also, giving unblockable kraken infect is fun.

Infect is cheesey but damn is it effective for win victory.

This makes a great boss monster if you focus on having smaller monsters thats hard to block and just have alot of cards that can copy other cards like spark double

That is an interesting way to play this but with small creatures you're less likely to transform Runo
