RuPaul on Cypress Steet in Atlanta filming his movie "Voyeur" 

In the 1980s Cypress Street in Midtown Atlanta was the area to cruise for gay hustlers and prostitutes, so RuPaul's director Wayne Hollowell chose this location to film "Voyeur", a psychological thriller about a serial killer prostitute and the young man who became her obsessed voyeur. RuPaul starred as the prostitute and Waldo Carrasco portrayed the handsome voyeur. This area has since become a large apartment complex but then it was home to the Gallus Restaurant, the first prominent gay restaurant in Atlanta.
