I was never into politics. I had to use my husband's car, and Rush was on. I was hooked. I rarely missed a show. Don't doubt me on this folks, my 💗 is broken.
This is a time when opposing ideological sides could come together and have a civilized debate without protests and threats. It’s sad that these times are gone. Rush had an uncanny ability to understand and explain the liberal mindset and I think that’s what made them grow to hate him more than anything. He was a true patriot and an icon and will be missed and remembered forever. I know I will.

Joan Lunden? Please. You did so much better at the end buddy. At the time Rush was full of self confidence on the radio, but lacked it in his personal life. Probably came from being a shy, overweight kid. And adult. But he lost 90 pounds in 2009 and was on top of the world for many years before his death. All her wanted to do was what he was born to do. Excel on the radio. They asked him later if he didn't want to run for President. This was way before Trump. He said, No, I can't afford the pay cut. Give em Hell in Heaven big guy.
I remember a short time after this, Joan Lundon did an interview with him. The 2 were in Central Park on a pre-interview discussion and I think some film footage, and it started a rumor in a NY tabloid that the 2 were romantically involved. He dispelled the rumors on his show, but said she was a beautiful, intelligent woman and a joy to talk to.
Screw what rush says, vote your wallet. If you're rich, vote republican. If you're a middle-class wage earner vote democrat. Both parties are flawed but know who you are voting for to improve your odds of success.

@@rationalconservative386 My views have evolved since I posted that comment. I'm confident in saying that BOTH parties are beholden to big-money corporate interests. The democratic party is largely owned by big money interests, but the republican party are TOTALLY owned, and they love serving their wealthy masters! Don't be duped by the false dichotomy, economically they are very similar. And if you want to complain about gun-grabbers, I'm with you on that, I say arm the proletariat, arm the leftists! I consider myself a libertarian socialist that's all about promoting personal liberties as much as possible. Also, plenty of "pussies" on all sides, and I'm not one of them. Germany did it for large companies decades ago with co-determination and it's been working well for them and they are a large country. Communism is a moneyless, classless, stateless(you should like that part) society. Libertarianism used to be a left-wing position until Rothbard somehow made it a right-wing deal. We may have a different angle on it but probably agree on alot to brother.........👍
